The family is preparing for Juhi's function. Neil surprises them, they call for Juhi as they think that he has come to meet her. Vedant comes and meets him; Neil reminds him that he is here for Vedant's admission.

Laxmi asks which school he is planning; he says that from the same school he has studied, Laxmi says that it is an expensive school, Neil says it is good and management is good and he knows them personally; he asks Tejaswini to join, as a guardian will be needed, but if they have a problem, Mukta also can come.

They agree to send Teju. Tejaswini says that Neil can be a guardian; he says he can't be available all the time because of work, so he will advise not to; he says Juhi also can join if they have a problem. Laxmi says to Juhi to join; Juhi says what will she do there; Laxmi thinks that she has to do something else; Laxmi says that Juhi's parents are not here, and if her parents come and they see Neil hasn't eaten anything. Teju also asks Juhi to join; Neil gets angry and says that he didn't know she had so much problem going alone with him.

They go to school; Teju sees an opening for a music teacher position; she finds the opportunity ideal; a peon informs her that it is a walk-in interview; Teju gets happy. She reaches to give an interview; she answers the question correctly, they ask her if she knows how to sing, and she sings for them. While Neil wonders where Teju is, he follows the voice and sees her singing. Everyone is impressed by her singing; they ask for documents, and she says that she is a graduate and pursuing an MA; they inform her that she is not qualified, though she is talented, but right now she doesn't have proper qualifications. She gets disheartened. She thinks now she will give the MA exam and get this job.

She is crying. Neil sees and gives her support. Neil says that Vedant will get admission in this school; Teju says that it was her father's dream. Teju starts the topic that she is glad that he is making an effort to talk to Juhi; he says that he didn't get the chance to talk to Juhi that he wanted. Neil, in a cryptic way, says that sometimes reality is in front, but we can't see. She says to Neil that she is grateful to him for what he did for Vedant. They talk about family and relations; Neil says that he is willingly doing this.

Tejaswini says that she has seen everything change, but the only thing that has not changed is Neil, and he is the only hope that she has. She informs that she will always be grateful for him. He asks, does she have no hopes from her boyfriend? Teju remembers Rituraj's word; she admits that no one loves her, and it was one-sided. There was not from his end; it was just a dream, and she has closed the chapter. Neil asked what had happened. She says that she expected him to stand by her, but it was a mistake trusting him. She breaks down. Neil gets worried about her, but he is happy listening to this. She further tells him about her dreams, her responsibilities, and her job.

Neil says he wants to say something; he says that truth is still the same; he confesses that he loves her.

Precap: We see Rituraj saying to Teju that he is ready now, and they can plan the marriage. Teju gets angry at him, as she thinks that she is some kind of joke to him, and she rejects his offer.
