A family member remembers Mohit and says if he were here, he would have been so happy to see Juhi getting married.

They taunt Mukta, but this time Tejaswini speaks up and says not to insult her in front of others. She further says that she has accepted them as her family and she understands their bitterness, but she can't take Mukta's insult anymore. Aditi also speaks up; Laxmi shuts her up, saying Teju is influencing her as well.

Neil stands up and says that he needs to talk to Mukta; Teju stops and says that he can talk to her in front of all.

Mukta tells Neil that he should not have done this; the family members will blame her. Mukta tells that what he wants is not possible. Neil says that even if he gets married to Juhi, it will be a compromise. Mukta tells Neil that she can't accept the proposal. Neil requests her to think again; he will wait for her decision.

While Tejaswini asks Vedu to come with her as they are about to leave from the hall, Neil stops her, saying that she just admitted that it is her family, so why is she leaving? It is important for her to stay. She further asks if she is happy with Juhi's marriage and also asks if he likes Neil for Juhi.

Neil's mother further says to confirm the proposal is official on the coming Sunday; both families are happy to listen, and they fixed the marriage date for next year.

Juhi gets emotional that Mohit should have been here. Neil is back with everyone; they say to Juhi's family that they should send Juhi to their home often as they will get to know each other. Neil behaves distantly with Juhi.

Vedant reminds Neil about the thing he wanted to discuss. Neil gives Vedant a phone and says it has a SIM and his number is saved as well. Neil's sister saw him giving the phone to Vedant; Teju saw everything; she got angry at Vedant, as Teju was shouting at her. Juhi stops her and says it is not a big deal.

Teju says to Mukta that what Neil thinks of himself is what he is trying to prove. Mukta says, Why is she saying all this to her? Teju says that his proposal is done, and then again he is doing all these things. Mukta has hopes.

Juhi, on the other hand, is confused by Neil's behavior. Juhi doesn't feel right; she is confused if she should marry her or not.
