Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 9th July 2025 Written Episode Update: Abhira Sees Glimpses of Pookie in Maira!

The episode begins with Abhira holding Anshuman’s hand and placing it on her shoulder for their photoshoot. Just then, Anshuman gets a call from the office and steps aside. Armaan approaches Abhira to discuss the wedding functions, and amidst their usual friction, Abhira slips, only to be caught by Armaan. The moment is captured by photographers, who compliment their chemistry. They even ask if Abhira knows Armaan well enough to draw inspiration for photos with Anshuman. Annoyed, Abhira snaps, saying Armaan is no one to her, and deletes the picture.

As their argument intensifies, Maira spots them and thinks they fight like old friends. Meanwhile, Geetanjali frantically searches for Maira, fearing she’s missing. Abhira eventually finds Maira hiding under a table. They share a sweet moment, eating mithai together.

Later, Kaveri confronts Armaan, accusing him of joining the wedding team to humiliate her. Armaan sharply replies that he took the job for the money and reminds her she doesn’t even acknowledge him as her grandchild.

Armaan sees Abhira and Maira bonding and feels overwhelmed, thinking he can’t tell Abhira the truth, but at least she can have these brief joyful moments. Just then, the police arrive with upsetting news: the blood sample Abhira submitted doesn't match any from NGOs in Rajasthan. They suggest that Pookie might not be alive anymore, as she’s been missing for 7 years. Abhira loses control, scolds the officer, and threatens to file a complaint. Kaveri steps in to pacify the situation, but Abhira refuses to listen, even to her.

Maira, who overhears everything, finds Abhira in tears. She lovingly comforts her, saying not to give up hope and that Pookie is surely alive. Seeing Abhira wounded, Maira brings ointment and gently applies it. Abhira finds comfort in her touch, surprised by the relief she feels from Maira’s presence. Armaan silently watches, consumed with guilt.

Geetanjali enters and tries to pull Maira away. When Abhira refers to their bond, Geetanjali snaps, saying Maira is her daughter and warns her to stay away. But Maira stands up for Abhira, insisting she’s hurt and they shouldn’t argue. Geetanjali still takes Maira with her.

Armaan later enters Abhira’s room. She tells him how Maira reminds her of Pookie, and that if Pookie were here, she would have grown up just like her. She even says Geetanjali is a good guardian—just like Armaan once was for Pookie. She tells Armaan to take care of Maira, as the little girl brings her peace and joy. Armaan, silently overwhelmed, listens with guilt etched on his face.

Afterwards, Armaan breaks down recalling their shared past and the burden of hiding the truth. Kaveri witnesses his pain but refrains from reaching out. Meanwhile, Geetanjali hurriedly packs to leave with Maira. Maira begs Armaan to stop them. Armaan agrees to let them stay. Geetanjali is displeased, but Krish arrives and lashes out at Armaan, urging him to stay focused on work.

Later, during a casual conversation between Tanya and Abhira, a mention of noodles triggers a memory for Abhira, stirring deeper emotions.

Precap: Maira overhears the ladies gossiping that Abhira’s ex-husband is at the wedding. Maira runs to Armaan, saying they must protect Abhira from the man who abandoned her. Unaware of the truth, Abhira overhears this conversation.
