Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 9th August 2025 Written Episode Update: Armaan and Abhira Fight Over Parenting Style! Will Abhira and Geetanjali Compete to Be Dance Partner of Maira?

Maira's health gets stabilized. Armaan informs Abhira that Maira has an allergy to walnuts. She gets angry at him for not telling her before, and she asks why he didn't pack an injection before. Abhira feels guilty of not knowing anything about her baby; the doctor calms her, saying it's normal. Abhira freaks out, saying to tell her exactly everything step by step. Armaan can see past himself in Abhira.

Whereas Krish is just telling his business clients that he and Anshuman have no problems, but clearly his business is suffering, Abhira comes there saying he could help him get clients. Krish gets angry that he has ruined life for both of her sisters. Abhir gives his wisdom of words that he should apologize to Tanya, as she loves him, and he will regret it later.

Whereas Abhira is getting overpossessive of Maira, Armaan asks her to take a break. Abhira gets irritated, saying she will sit here. Armaan says it was his fault, and she should not overthink. Maira, in her sleep, says to go and fight outside. Whereas Abhir receives Kiara's text that if Tanya forgives Krish, then they will talk, and whereas Krish and Tanya meet in a cafe, he is trying to mend things with Tanya as he apologizes to her, and Anshuman sees them and gets angry at Krish, he says the guy who was insulting his parents and partner can't change overnight.

While Abhira throws the walnuts and gets angry at Armaan for the unhealthy habits he created for Maira, like eating ice cream for breakfast and watching TV closely, she says he was overprotective when they were together, and then what did he do? Armaan asks why she is repeating the same mistakes as what he did.

While Abhira receives a delivery of a car, she gets excited and says that she hopes it is exactly what Maira has asked for. Armaan is shocked that Abhira is fulfilling every other demand of Maira. She says she doesn't care, and if Maira feels good, she doesn't care about anything, and she can do anything for her daughter. Armaan asks her to return, as Maira will get more bold in demands; they both fight over parenting style. Abhira gets defensive that he thinks she is not a good mother.

They both fight over returning the car, and one thing leads to another; they fall on top of each other, while Abhira blocks Armaan out, saying she only has 1 month to win the heart, and goes inside, where Maira is talking to Geetanjali, who is saying that she is not feeling good as she is not there with Maira and would have taken care of her. Maira says she told Abhira to go outside, while Geetanjali manipulates Maira, saying, "Remember how she used to want Geetanjali to sign in her mother's place on the form?" Geetanjali says she wishes she could be her mother soon.

Maira wakes up saying she is fine. Maira sees a form and sees that her mother's column is filled with her mother's name. Maira tells how Armaan never used to let her put Geetanjali's name in that column, and she says that dream will never be fulfilled. Maira says her heart wants Geetu as her mother, not her. Abhira says they are friends and asks her to rest. Abhira doesn't show it, but she is hurt by Maira's words.

While Armaan goes to Geetganjali and gets furious, asking if she has given a one-month deadline to Abhira. And if she couldn't win her heart, she would take Maira back? He says she can't pressure Abhira like that. Geetanjali gets defensive, but Armaan says she was unfair, while Geetanjali says it is up to Maira to choose who she wants as her mother! Seven years ago he made a choice, and now Maira will make the decision.

Whereas Abhira thinks Armaan's word says she actually is overdoing it by bringing the car for Maira. Whereas Abhir is crying seeing Charu's rakhis for her brothers, regretting that he didn't let her meet her family, Abhira calms her, saying it is not his fault. They both get emotional.

While Maira comes out and sees Rakhi and says she wishes she also had a brother, Abhira says she has her masi and Daksh. Maira insists on talking, but Abhira's phone battery is low. Abhira makes her see her childhood pictures, and Maira gets sad wishing Daksh was here, while Abhira gets an idea. She is making a Rakhi for Abhir, and Maira also sits down to make a Rakhi for Daksh.

Precap: Maira informs them there is a dance competition, and she wants to participate with Geetanjali. On call, Armaan asks why not participate with Abhira? Maira says she doesn't know classical dance; Armaan tells her she will learn. In the end, it is decided that whoever amongst Geetanjali and Abhira dances the best will be her partner.
