Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 5th July 2025 Written Episode Update: Abhira and Anshuman Get Engaged?

Today's episode starts with an axsious Abhira having a talk with herself, Abhira sees the time and gets worried as Armaan haven't returned back and it's late, she remminds herself that it's Armaan's free will and she should not worry about him, whereas Armaan is outside the house and is emorional saying he is happy that she is geeting engaged and Anshuman is also a great guy, but he still wants her, saying he is giving his heart away, he is supposed to feel pain, though he only is responsible, he says he will pray for her happines, but won't show this sode to her as she will start to wait for him again, and she doesn't deserve him, and wants her to move on with someone who keeps her happy, so he decides to not stay with them as he can;t see her getting married to someone else. He says he, her, and Pookie could have been together, but he ruined everything. Abhira sees him walking out and thinks he doesn't even want to stay with her.

While Armaan goes to their special place and sees that it has been destroyed and it has Abhira's mangalsutra there, Kiara comes there, and they reunite. Kiara has some equipment, saying she has bought it to create a new bench. Kiara expresses how everyone has left her and how situations have changed. She says how Abhira used to cry. She says Abhira deserves to move on and is making a good decision to move on with Anshuman.

The next morning, Armaan pens down his thoughts that he couldn't tell Maira, but Maira comes to visit him in Udaipur along with Daddu and Geetanjali, and they are reunited. Maira asks why he is not at Abhira's house. He says he has no rights! Whereas Geetanjali is thinking that he has told Abhira the truth, Armaan clarifies that he hasn't told Abhira anything, and Geetanjali feels relieved.

Whereas Daddu and Geetanjali had to go to Kumbhaghar for weeding, Maira insists on going too. After a lot of thought, he agrees and advises her to be careful. Whereas Vidya's anger is clearly evident, as today is Abhira's engagement day and she is not happy about it, as she and Kaeri will be having a heated discussion, Tanya will come, and she has bought an auspicious gift. She praises Anshuman and asks Abhira to never break his heart, whereas Vidya leaves and Tanya leaves as well.

Abhira goes to talk to Vidya, whereas Vidya hears Armaan's voice note that he will be staying in the guest house. While Abhira asks for Vidya's support, Vidya refuses, saying she can't support her bad decision. She says Abhira and Armaan are made for each other, and Abhira is being unfair to herself, Armaan, and Anshuman as well. Kaveri receives an urgent call and says she will be there.

Whereas Armaan receives a call from his boss, who is very irritated with him, Armaan pleads for a few more days of leave, but he fires Armaan. While Maira comes and demands that she will need new items for school, Armaan doesn't show but looks worried. Geetanjali comes and asks Armaan to make a taxi payment, as his phone is hanging. Armaan does the transfer. Armaan receives a text that his account has reached a minimum balance. He is worried about how he will buy stuff for Maira.

Abhira sees Armaan's bag, and it triggers her inner turmoil, and she thinks that she needs more time and thinks she needs to talk with Anshuman. While she goes to talk to him, seeing Anshuman's excitement, she doesn't find the heart to tell him. Whereas Armaan has gone outside Poddar House, where Manoj hands him a card for firm access, he says Krish and Sanjay are busy with Abhira's engagement, though Armaan is affected by listening to this, but he tries not to show it, but he is failing miserably at it.

Precap: Armaan will mistakenly reach Abhira's engagement, though he will hide himself, but seeing Abhira, he couldn't help but cry, whereas Abhira will also sense Armaan's presence.
