Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 5th August 2025 Written Episode Update: Sanjay Testifies Against Krish? Krish signs the papers in the name of Kaveri?

The last we saw, that Poddar house hearing was announced, and Krish and Abhira protested. The judge said to Abhira that the lawyer from their end requested the hearing; she said she is the lawyer, Armaan revealed that he did it, and he will be fighting this case for them, and Krish fights the case.

Armaan shocks everyone by saying he wants to bring Sanjay to the podium. Krish objects and says he is his lawyer and asks him to step down. Armaan reminds the quorum and says he will question first. He asks if Sanjay by trick got the papers signed from Kaveri. Sanjay denies it but adds Krish did this, shocking everyone, and says that's how the Poddar house turned into the Bansal house. Armaan appreciates Sanjay's honesty.

A flashback shows how Armaan found Sanjay on the road, ready to leave everything behind. Sanjay says he can't go back, as Krish has insulted and thrown him out. He asks if he thought about Kajal; Sanjay says she is brave, and other than that, no one cares because of what he has done. Armaan shares his personal experience of how he ran away thinking everyone would be happy, but he was so wrong and always thinks he should have never left, and these seven years will be regretful for him. Sanjay says he has made a lot of mistakes, and that's why he is facing karma. Armaan says he can still rectify the mistake. and that led to his testifying.

The judge makes the judgment in favor of Kaveri and asks Krish Poddar to sign the court in Kaveri's name. Armaan has papers prepared already, and Sanjay hands over the pen to Krish and says a father will always be a father. Armaan asks Krish to apologize to three of them; Krish denies, but Armaan reminds him to show some brains, and he does apologize to them, he does.

An emotional moment for the whole family, Kaveri says she dreamt of going back home, and now that is over. Vidya says Armaan is the reason behind this. Armaan says it is their patience. Vidya says they had lost hope, but now they will be returning back to their home. Kaveri says to Armaan that this house was built by his grandfather, and that house is his hard work's proof and reminds her of his presence. Kaveri says to Armaan that she will never forget this. Armaan says he got late, and he was the reason behind it, and apologizes for not being a good son and says not to forgive him, as he doesn't deserve it.

While Anshuman and Maira are vibing as they are making hot chocolate despite Abhira saying no, they high-five on their new friendship. Anshuman gets something on his clothes and goes to clean it. Maira sees a message from Geetanjali; it is a picture of hot chocolate, and her voice is not saying she was passing by their favorite spot, and she says she didn't drink hot chocolate today. Maiara asks why. Geetanjali manipulates Maira; she can't drink without her, can she?

Whereas Abhira says thanks to Armaan, but he appreciates her strength, saying she was the one who supported the family, and he, out of guilt, fought the case. He says there is no one like her; he says this should break; he says he wishes Miara turned out like her mother.
