Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 4th August 2025 Written Episode Update: Will Geetanjali's Hidden Phone Cause Trouble for Maira? Does Kaveri Get Poddar House Back?

The last we saw, Maira befriended Abhira and Anshuman, while Abhira asked them to leave and said she would get food packed and join them, while Abhira thanked Abhishek, the person who took her phone. It turned out that it was all Abhira's plan; Anshuman saw and was amazed. While Anshuman asks Abhira to forgive Kaveri, saying she hid the truth because she wanted Abhira's life to be better and didn't tell when their marriage was postponed because Armaan was in the hospital and she wanted him to tell her the truth, Anshuman says it is not up to Abhira to decide if she will forgive or not.

While Armaan, along with Manoj and Kiara, discusses Krish's arrogant behavior towards Sanjay, they drop Armaan at the bus station, asking him to leave. Armaan says he needs to make things better; Kiara says it is too late now. While Kaveri and Vidya are worried as Anshuman and Abhira haven't returned, as they were discussing this, they see Maira returning with Abhira. Vidya gets shocked, asking, How this change of heart? She says Armaan made her understand, and she will have to be patient as she is in a confused state right now, and eventually she will start considering her mother. Kaveri is happy with this as she is leaving. Abhira hugs her from behind, and Kaveri promises that she won't hide anything. Vidya joins in for a hug.

It turns out that Geetanjali has left a secret phone for Maira; she sees Geetanjali's message saying to call her whenever she misses her. Maira decides not to tell Abhira about it. Abhira has bought fruits for Maira; she refuses to eat, but Abhira tricks her, and they both play around and eat, whereas Geetanjali is worried if Abhira saw that phone and messages. She fears Armaan will get angry, but Geetanjali has received Maira's text saying she loves and misses her.

Whereas Kaveri says Manoj has filed a complaint but says it was all Sanjay's fault that Krish turned out like this, Abhira says Sanjay can't entirely be blamed and it is Krish's fault. Whereas Maira comes for breakfast, demanding ice cream for breakfast, saying Armaan used to give it to her and never used to deny it, while Abhira gets angry at him, saying Armaan used to taunt them a lot when he was there, but now he feeds her ice cream. She calls him a hypocrite and says to Kaveri that she can't let her eat. Kaveri and Vidya ask her to let her eat.

While Abhira receives a call saying they have been summoned for a hearing and three of them need to go, they think, what will they do with Maira? While Abhira refuses, saying she will not leave Maira, Anshuman comes to their rescue, saying he will hang out with her. While Abhira strictly reminds her that it is not easy to handle a child and hands over the list of things to do with Maira, and while Getanjali has texted a good morning voice note, Maira replies to her in a hushed tone. While Anshuman, seeing Abhira's care, calls her a great mother.

Whereas Abhira and three of them reach court and see the rest of the family is also there, the judge announces to begin the Poddar House hearing; they all are shocked to hear this.

Recap: Kaveri shows gratitude to Armaan and Abhira, saying with their help they got the Poddar house back, while Abhira refuses to stay, saying she has no relation with this house or Armaan now. While Maira gets ill, Abhira blames herself, but Armaan offers to help.
