Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 30th August 2025 Written Episode Update: Abhira's Truth Shatters Maira!

The episode starts with Maira in school practicing for her performance; as she recites her script, Abhira in jail is praying that Maira's performance gets smooth, but Maira faces the shocking truth as other students tell her that her mother is a liar, not a lawyer, as she is in jail. Maira refuses to believe and gets in a fight with another student; Armaan comes to defuse the situation, and Geetanjali sees and thinks that Maira really has replaced her.

While Armaan is asked to make Maira apologize, Armaan apologizes, saying he won't let Maira apologize for her mistake and take her, while Maira asks if Abhira is really in jail. Whereas Abhira is getting anxious in jail, as she asks to make another call. While Maira asks Armaan again, saying she wants to talk to her mother, she asks him, "Why are you keeping me far from my mother?"

Maira is shattered as she couldn't talk to Abhira. Maira asks Armaan to tell the truth: is Abhira in jail? Tanya comes and says yes. Maira says only bad people go to jail. As Tanya was about to reveal the truth, Armaan asks her to stop, and even Krish asks her not to, saying Maira is a kid. Armaan says not to take anger out on Maira, but Tanya reveals that Abhira took Anshuman's life. Armaan furiously shouts at her to leave, but Tanya continues that Abhira is a criminal and a murderer.

Maira gets conscious as Tanya tells how Abhira is a murderer. Kaveri loses her cool, saying they all are dealing with Anshuman's grief, but they can't take their anger out on Maira. Krish defends Tanya, saying her brother was murdered and Abhira is responsible. Krish says she wants justice. Armaan says he just blames Abhira, and he wants justice, and what they did with Maira is not justified.

Armaan understands Tanya's pain but says, "Will Anshuman have liked how they behaved with Maira?" Kajal stops them, saying it was all a mistake, and they should not fight. Vidya speaks up, saying despite everyone's denial, she told Maira the truth and took anger out on Maira. Kajal and Vidya come face-to-face as they fight as well. Kajal says she knew Vidya would do this, as she can't see anyone in front of her son.

While Maira keeps replaying Abhira's voice note, Manisha is with her, and Kaveri comes to talk to her, saying no one should cry as nothing has happened, and what people are saying are lies, and those are just accusations. Kaveri asks her not to worry, and Maira asks, "Then why is she in jail?" Kaveri says her mother is a brave girl and they should be brave, and Abhira will be back soon, as her father will bring her back.

Maira calms herself. Armaan says they didn't tell her the truth because her mother wanted to protect her. Maira asks him if he will bring Abhira. Armaan promises he will! Armaan hugs Kaveri for handling Maira so maturely; they both get emotional as she hugs back, saying this was the least she could do. While Armaan goes to jail, she asks if Maira got to know about the truth. Armaan says some kid at school told her about it. Abhira regrets how Maira was excited, and here she ruined everything.
