Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 29th July 2025 Written Episode Update: Will Maira Accept Abhira, or Return to Armaan and Geetanjali?

The episode starts with Armaan getting anxious to talk to Maira, but he recalls Abhira's words saying that she is only her daughter now, and Armaan is scared that Maira will miss him if he calls, and it will create more trouble for Abhira. Whereas Kaveri and Vidya are back to their old home, they see that Abhira had already packed all the orders and even ordered groceries, fulfilling her responsibilities fully. Vidya taunts Kaveri, saying she should at least clean the house and fulfill her responsibility. Kaveri asks Vidya to leave as well, saying Pookie needs her, and confesses how Armaan wanted to tell Pookie's truth long back, and she stopped him. If only she hadn't stopped, the situation might not be this bad. Vidya couldn't help but ask why she stopped Armaan from telling the truth.

On the other hand, Geetanjali gets furious at Armaan asking to pack her love as well along with Maira's other things. Armaan apologizes to her, but Geetanjali angrily says he didn't love her much; only she did because in love there is no right and wrong. While Abhira is back with Pookie, saying this is their home and they will stay here, she doesn't want to keep Maira away from her dadi. While Maira demands her nightdress that is in Mount Abu with Armaan, and she sleeps angrily.

While Daddu assures Armaan that he made the right decision and he will also be in pain, but Geetanjali's pain is also valid, as her dreams and hopes have been shattered, and Geetanjali started thinking of them as family, but no one will understand Geetanjali's pain, he asks him to accompany him to show something. Daddu takes Armaan to Geetanjali's home and shows how she has kept Maira's frame with so much love, and only they are for each other, and he was always scared of what Geetanjali would do after him, but he was hopeful when Maira came into their life. He says that hope came crashing. How will he handle her? He asks Armaan to support Geetu, saying he won't be able to die in such a condition. Daddu cries, saying to support Geetanjali. Armaan promises her he won't ever let Geetanjali be alone.

While Abhira is in pain that Pookie is not happy, Vidya goes to talk to her, saying things will take time. Abhira says Maira's happiness is with Armaan, and now she is scared of what to do. She says Armaan was so convinced that she was and can never be right, Mother; that's why he was ready to marry Geetanjali. She says maybe he is right; she is not a good mother. Vidya says motherly love has so much power, and it will cover every wound.

On the other hand, Abhira has made sure that Anshuman drinks ORS to keep him hydrated; it is her way to bribe him, saying he will need to focus on their business more, as she wants to fully dedicate her time to Maira. She hears Maira crying; Abhira keeps the call, she takes Pookie on her lap and sings a lullaby for her, and they both are crying. Whereas Geetanjali is determined that Maira will return, Armaan asks Geetanjali to accept the fact that Maira is with her real mother. Geetanjali says she has brought her up and has more right to her, and Maira will never be happy with Abhira. Armaan is disheartened to hear this.

Maira is still crying; she says she misses Armaan and Geetanjali and wants to hear a bedtime story from Armaan. She requests to call Armaan; Abhira calls and gives it to Maira. He asks if she didn't sleep. Armaan says her mumma will tell the best stories, but Maira refuses and wants to hear from Armaan and even stops Geetanjali from coming to frame. Maira is in pain, and Armaan is in extra pain, as he says she will be happy with Abhira. Maira says she will be happy with Armaan and Geetu; hearing this, Geetanjali comes, saying she will come there. Armaan gets angry and cuts the call, saying he won't come between them, and Maira will get comfortable soon. Geetanjali says this will never happen, letting Armaan get furious and say he will make sure Abhira gets Maira's love, as she deserves it.

Precap: Abhira helplessly calls Armaan to take Maira back, as she is always crying. Armaan gives her strength, saying everything will be fine.
