Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 29th August 2025 Written Episode Update: Armaan Keeps Maira Distracted! Maira Dresses as a Little Lawyer!

The episode starts with Armaan asking for help from Vidya and Kaveri to keep Maira busy for two days, saying he will bring Abhira meanwhile. While Maira arrives calling out why they are talking so secretively, Maira has a glimpse of Abhira while Armaan changes the topic as they all prepare Maira's book for the first day of school. As Geetanjali sees and insists on helping, Manisha stops her, saying she needs help in the kitchen. Manisha is doing this to protect Abhira's truth, as they don't trust Geetanjali.

Whereas Maira and others have fun preparing school bags, we see Kiara desperately looking for some packets; she is saying she has only used 9. Where did one go? Kiara is acting frantic as she calls the dealer; she reveals that she wants more drugs. She is going crazy. While Maira is done with all prep, she insists on talking to Abhira, while Armaan gets worried and asks who has Abhira's phone. Vidya says it is with Manisha.

Whereas Geetanjali sees Armaan calling and thinks if he wants to talk to Manisha, then why is he not directly talking face-to-face? As she picks up the call, Maira says, "Mumma," but Manisha quickly takes the phone away. Manisha stresses the importance for Geetanjali to not give Maira more reasons to question Abhira's absence. While Manisha asks Geetanjali about the truth behind their marriage, saying they don't look in love, Geetanjali goes silent.

While Maira goes to a closed room, which is Armaan and Abhira's room, Maira asks, "Who stays here?" He says only memories. Maira asks why Armaan and Abhira can't get married again. Armaan goes silent as he says some stay in friendship, and while he goes aside to take the inspector's call, he arranges for Abhira's documents. While at night Maira remembers that she needs a costume, but Armaan is well prepared, as he says Abhira has sent this costume for her.

Maira gets happy as Abhiar remembers to add a cat to her costume. She hugs the costume, remembering Abhira. She insists on calling her again, but Armaan makes an excuse to talk in the morning. Maira asks if he is keeping some secret. Maira insists—can he sleep with her? He says he is outside only and needs to get some work done.

Armaan sees Geetanjali in the morning in Maira's room, who is sleeping. She is telling her how she will be with her soon. Armaan hears this as he is about to wake Maira. Geetanjali stops him, suggesting they should not send her to school in mid-session, as she will face problems. Armaan asks how much he should listen to her. And now she doesn't trust her, and from here he and her mother will manage.

Whereas Maira is ready for school, Armaan gets emotional seeing her dressed as a lawyer. As he sees Abhira's glimpse, he makes Maira hear Abhira's voice note, and Maira gets too excited after listening to it, whereas Geetanjali is observing all this from a distance and thinks she too will go to Maira's school.
