Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 28th June 2025 Written Episode Update: Will Armaan Keep Hiding Maira's Truth?

The episode opens with Armaan burdened by guilt, realizing that Abhira is suffering because of him. He approaches her, supporting her decision to divorce him and saying Anshuman is a better match—someone even Kaveri approves of. He urges Abhira to accept the new relationship, but her mind is consumed by thoughts of Pookie. She shares how she still clings to the hope of finding Pookie after seven long years and how even boxes around her remind her of the loss.

Abhira confronts Armaan for abandoning her in her grief. His apology only deepens her hurt. She expresses how she can’t move on like he has—replacing Pookie with Maira—and shows him the birthday gifts she’s been collecting for Pookie year after year. Abhira breaks down, questioning how she’s even alive while he seems to have moved on so easily. Armaan is devastated seeing her pain.

She reminds him how they once shared grief, yet now he's urging her to move on without closure. She accuses him of not even informing her about his new relationship and not sparing a thought for her or Pookie. A heartbroken Armaan hugs Kaveri, but finds no solace.

Elsewhere, Dadu suggests Armaan take care of Geetanjali, but she refuses, worrying about how Armaan will manage. Meanwhile, Vidya is anxious in the hospital about her surgery. Armaan reassures her, and the doctor arrives—sent by Anshuman. Kaveri is impressed by Anshuman's thoughtfulness.

At home, Maira asks Geetanjali to sign a permission slip for a school trip. A moved Geetanjali signs it, and Maira excitedly expresses how happy she is that Geetanjali might soon become a part of their family.

While waiting outside the surgery room, Abhira video calls Anshuman to thank him. Armaan overhears their conversation and silently wonders if Anshuman truly is the better man for her. When Abhira brings up the medical expenses, Armaan writes a note offering to pay, but Anshuman has already covered everything. His efficient handling leaves Armaan quietly observing.

Elsewhere, Tanya gossips about Abhira, subtly suggesting she might be a gold digger. Kiara shuts her down, defending Abhira and stating that Anshuman would be lucky to have her—but also hints that Abhira won’t accept him, as the person she truly wants has returned.

Armaan and Abhira later sit together, silently watching a couple with a daughter, and a sense of longing hits them. Abhira wonders if her Pookie would be happy. She asks Armaan if he ever tried to find her, then retracts, assuming it must have been hard. Armaan, overwhelmed, walks away and breaks down in tears.
