Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 28th July 2025 Written Episode Update: Abhir and Family Welcomes Maira! Kaveri Faces Abhira's Wrath and Leaves the House?

The episode starts with Abhira introducing Miara to each and every one of the family, and when it was Tanya's turn, she said he is her Chachi. Tanya says if Abhira wants, she will become Bua as well. While Kajal says if Charu were here, she would have picked her and never let her go, and when it was Kaveri's turn, she says she is his father's dadu, and Armaan just turned out like her. Abhir sings a song for Maira.

While Geetanjali, on the other hand, has cooked Maira's food, she is in pain for losing Maira, saying she has brought her up since she was 3 and she was about to be her mother. She says what happened to Abhira was wrong, but what is happening to her is also not right; she says she wants her Maira back.

On the other hand, when Maira coughs, Maira is about to say Armaan's name, and Abhira says it's okay to miss him, but Maira says he is not missing her, while Armaan is making himself understand to accept the fate that Maira is better off with Abhira. Whereas Anshuman comes to check on Abhira, who regriously thanks Anshuman for helping her find Pookie, and the environment gets light when Abhira mentions that she will cook Aloo Paratha whenever she wants to thank him.

Abhira expresses how she has missed Maira for 7 years, and to gain Maira's trust and friendship it will take time, and she doesn't want to trouble Maira. Anshuman asks her to give time to Maira, and with time things will get better. Kaveri comes there, Abhira leaves, and Kaveri says she wanted to tell, but Anshuman says she is with Abhira this time.

Kajal is still dealing with her daughter's loss, but Maira's presence has put some relief to it. Krish even has a problem with it, but Kajal says that his arrogance can't ignore the fact that her pain that she feels is greater, and she says what she couldn't do for Charu, she will do for Pookie, and says Krish won't understand. Tanya lectures Krish on understanding someone. Krish retaliates, saying if he also had an understanding partner, he would have expressed it to her, but sadly this is not the case.

While Armaan is in Maira's room saying she has given Maira all the memories, how could he give them all? While the whole family is excited and they have bought different items for her to eat, Maira is shocked to react, and as Abhira brings noodles, Kaveri comes forward to apologize, and Anshuman takes Maira inside. Abhira takes out her anger on Kaveri, saying, Why did you keep Pookie away? Abhira says she did this for Armaan to protect him, despite seeing how much she struggled, in fear and in guilt, and still Kaveri, after seeing Armaan, forgot everything and chose Armaan, saying she is only Armaan's Dadisa. Kaveri says then she has no right to stay in this house. Abhira doesn't stop her; instead, she tells Vidya to accompany Kaveri.

While Abhira goes to check on Maira, in the room Maira has covered herself with a blanket. Abhira talks gently to her, saying talking to Mumma can solve everything. Maira unintentionally says then she should talk to Geetu. Abhira gets hurt, and Maira says she forgets every time. Abhira says it's okay, and she can ask her anything. Maira asks why she and Armaan got separated. Abhira says he took her away, and they were not together because Armaan thought she would be happier with him. Maira says he was right; she was happy with him, but with her, she is sad. Abhira's heart breaks one more time. Abhira thinks that Pookie is with her finally, but just because she is upset with Armaan, she came; otherwise, she would have never come here.
