Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 28th August 2025 Written Episode Update: Maira Doubts Armaan? Kiara gives Saharsh money?

The episode starts with Armaan getting furious in the temple as he questions God for unfairness with Abhira, saying Abhira came to take a blessing in this temple, and they took her friend. He says not only that her mother is BSP, now Anshuman, but also that he got married to Geetanjali because of Maira, and God is keeping her away from Maira. He fiercely says that he doesn't believe in God, and if God exists, they will have to prove it. He ties threads, saying to help him in getting Abhira released.

Whereas Geetanjali is looking for Maira, Manisha bluntly says she has gone to pick stuff from the Goenka house, and Maira doesn't get scared easily; she is Abhira's daughter. While Kiara meets Saharsh, who is demanding money from her for a favor that she needs, Abhir sees them talking as Maira was asking about Abhira's whereabouts. Abhir hands over Maira's stuff to Kiara, asking her to keep it safe. Kiara asks for 50 thousand from Abhir; he agrees but asks for urgency. Kiara lies that her friend needs it.

While Geetanjali faces families' taunts, especially Vidya's, who says Armaan won't let Abhira be on an empty stomach as he loves her, Kajal offers Geetanjali to eat with them. She says her husband might be coming, and she will eat with him, and she leaves, while Kajal tells Vidya that she can't take Armaan and Abhira's names together, as Armaan is married, but Vidya shows trust in Armaan and Abhira's relationship, saying Geetanjali can never win against their love.

Armaan is back. Vidya asks about Abhira, but Kaveri tells Armaan to eat with his wife, as she has been waiting for him since morning. While Abhira is recalling Armaan's word, and it gives her strength and hope, as she promises to be with Maira soon, she thinks, "Now that Armaan is married, will it be good that he supports her like this?" Whereas Vidya says to Kaveri that she can't force Armaan into a relationship. Kaveri says if he had Abhira at heart, he should not have married, and he did all this knowingly, and they can't forgive him every time. Armaan remembers why he got married and thinks to fulfill his promise.

Geetanjali sets up Armaan's plate; he recalls Abhira's dinner, and he too has daal roti. Meanwhile, Maira dreams of a happy family where she, Armaan, and Abhira were playing happily till everything was destroyed. She wakes up from sleep shouting "Mumma," but soon sees the whole room decorated and hears Abhira's voice. She calms down but soon understands that it is Abhira's recorded voice telling her she will be back soon, and in the meantime, be with her father. Abhira makes Maira smile from that voice note.

Maira insists on talking to Abhira on call, Armaan makes excuses, and Maira wonders if he is lying. While Abhir has gone to meet Abhira, and she is guilty—what will Maira think if she gets to know that! She recalls her mother; Abhir says those were assumptions, and it is best if she doesn't tell her anything. He asks her to eat for Maira's sake. Abhir is asked to leave, and Abhira keeps worrying about Maira.
