Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 24th August 2025 Written Episode Update: Anshuma's Sudden Demise? Abhira is accused of Anshuma's murder?

In todays episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata, Abhira is shocked to learn that Armaan has married Geetanjali, as she sees sindoor and mangalsutra on her. Abhira couldn't help but get broken, yet she makes Geetanjali wear her bangles and heartbroken leaves the temple. Armaan goes to follow her, but Geetanjali stops him, saying that Anshuman is with her and he will manage. Daddu comes, and Geetanjali learns that he was ill. Daddu says he only had one dream—to see his granddaughter married—but that too he missed. They all say that he needs to take rest, while Daddu says he needs to talk to Geetanjali separately. She insists that they should talk in front of her husband!

Daddu says she has used Armaan and emotionally manipulated him into marriage. Geetanjali says she did it for her future and didn't want to lose Armaan, while Dadu says more rituals need to be done, that is, pagphera. He tells Armaan to stay a few days here in Udaipur and then come to Mount Abu. Whereas Abhira is dealing with pain alone, but Anshuman makes sure she gets what she wants as he sends a thermos of chai, while Abhira howls in pain recalling Armaan and Geetanjali's marriage.

She removes all her jewelry. Abhira says Armaan fulfilled his promise to marry Geetanjali, and she should be proud of him, and for him only Pookie calls her mother. What else does she want? Abhira is afraid of the answer and says he is someone else's now. Anshuman comes there as Abhira was setting Armaan and her memories on fire; he stops her. She says it will stay in her heart, but now she has no right to this. As for the world, Geetanjali and Armaan are together, but for her there are two Armaans: the one Armaan that will be with her in memories, and she will love him till the end.

Whereas at the Poddar house there is chaos all over, Tanya is sick and worried for Anshuman and gets angry at the family for not caring about Anshuman and says Abhira and Armaan are the reason behind this. Whereas Anshuman is with Abhira despite everything, supporting her as a friend; they are in a cafe, and Abhira discusses how Armaan has taken responsibility for Geetanjali, and she will have to keep the smile so that Armaan can fulfill his promise.

Anshuman asks Abhira to express rather than keep things at heart; she says she will become weak, and she doesn't want to for Armaan. Listening to this, Anshuman says, "Why is she still thinking about Armaan?" Abhira says love is like this only, right! While a box of sugar sachets falls and the waiter helps and puts it back, Abhira mixes sugar in Ansuman's and her coffee; they both have a sip.

Anshuman suggests to Abhira to move to a different place with Maira, where he will help her set up the business. Abhira says he too lost many things in this city; has he never thought of shifting? He said he thought so, but Tanya didn't agree, and for that decision she met a cute, sweet friend. Abhira is amazed by Anshuman's attitude; despite her breaking his heart, he is still there for her. She says she wishes she could reduce his pain; he says it is a lifelong friendship and she will get many chances.

Abhira suggests leaving, as she wants to inform Maira about all this. As they were leaving, Anshuman stops midway, his breath hitches, and he falls. Abhira gets worried and goes to wake him; a doctor was present in the cafe, and he comes forward to check and declares Anshuman dead.

Precap: Everyone learns the truth of Anshuman's demise, and a prayer is kept in his memory. Suddenly police arrive and arrest Abhira in Anshuman's murder case. As Abhira is behind the bar, she requests them to release her. Police say only a lawyer can help her. Armaan comes to her rescue, saying he knows she is innocent and she will be out of jail!
