Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 22nd May 2025 Written Episode Update: What Happened Seven Years Ago? How Armaan Got Pookie Back?

The episode starts with Kaveri, Vidya, and Abhira cutting cake. Abhira is reminded of Pookie and the moment she spent with her.

While Armaan is with Mayra and Geetanjali, they are celebrating Mayra's birthday. Geetanjali is the tenant's daughter.

When Mayar calls Geetanjali Getu, Armaan asks her, She is elder to you; why are you calling her that? She asks if she should call her Mumma."

A Flashback of Seven Years Ago

We see a drunk Armaan passed out in the middle of the road when he receives a call from a number that the Pookie is with him; the stranger tells how he recognized and called. Armaan couldn't stop crying.

The moment he takes Pookie in his hand, his life feels complete. At that moment, out of anger, Armaan decided to take this step, as he felt neither her mother needed her nor his mother needed him.

While Abhira is writing a letter on Pookie's 7th birthday, she is writing in the hope that Pookie will be alive somewhere.

While Armaan is in guilt for not arranging a proper party. Whereas Abhira is struggling to sleep at night, when Vidya comes, Abhira shares how she is scared to sleep. She is thinking that because of her mistake, Armaan got away from his daughter. She thinks Armaan is alone. She had promised him to be together, but she has left him.

While Armaan is getting Mayra ready, he is struggling to manage all this together, getting her ready, cooking food, and even entertaining Mayra. Somehow he manages and sends her to school!

Whereas Kaveri is struggling with lifestyle, as she is feeling hot in the house, Kaveri says to Abhira to get an AC, but they don't have enough money. Abhira says they have already taken a loan for business. Abhira hands over a check to deposit money. As Kaveri goes, she is reminded of the privileged life she used to live, as she has never gone to a bank; the managers used to come to her. A man comes, introduces himself as the manager, takes the amount, and leaves.

We see Krish's entry as Kaveri's face is ruined; an arrogant Krish walks in, and when Kaveri comments that he turned just like his father, he is happy to admit he did and leaves.

Precap: In the coming episode, as three of them will be relaxing, Abhira will receive a call about how they won't have enough money to pay the installment. As Abhira will question that some manager had taken the amount, it turns out that the person was a fraud!
