Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 22nd August 2025 Written Episode Update: Armaan misunderstands that the marriage has happened! Geetanjali Goes Missing?

The episode starts with Anshuman asking Abhira to think freely, as her heart is saying a single name. Abhira finally breaks down, saying she tried to hate Armaan but couldn't. Anshuman supportively says he understands what love is and she was ready to sacrifice all that. He says he frees her from all the promises, and she can go. Abhira is speechless; she says angels exist. Anshuman says he is her friend and business partner too, and they hug each other. Abhira says how much he understands her and how important he is to her and how he stuck by her, and she is lucky to have him. Anshuman responds that he is the luckiest to have her. Armaan hears and sees this exchange.

Whereas at the court the family is informed that today marriage registration won't be happening, Tanya thinks, "Is Armaan behind this?" She calls Anshuman, who says they are not getting married, saying he will explain later. Tanya and Krish, everyone makes assumptions about what is happening. While Vidya calls Krish and gets to know that the marriage is not happening, she thinks Armaan had stopped the wedding.

Whereas Abhira asks Anshuman why he didn't tell the whole truth to the family, Anshuman asks Abhira to focus on herself right now, and whereas Armaan assumes that marriage has happened, his whole world comes to an end, while Abhira says she can't confess love to Armaan, while Anshuman motivates her to. Whereas Maira asks Kiara and Abhir why they didn't go to her mom's wedding. Abhir says it was crowded and to create a card for them.

While Maira was searching for something, she was about to make Kiara's bag fall, but she quickly reacted, and in the process, she even pushed Abhir and saved that bag. Kiara shouts at Maira, asking her to be careful. Maira starts to cry. Abhir asks Kiara to stop and calms Maira, saying she did nothing. While Abhir and Anshuman are discussing the reason why Abhira is hesitant, Abhira speaks up to Geetanjali, saying, "What is she doing to her? She already took Maira, and it is not easy for her, as she was dreaming of becoming Maira's mother, and her world will shatter." She says she doesn't want Armaan to break her heart. Anshuman advises talking to Armaan first.

Armaan is back home; he breaks down. Vidya is not home; she is in the temple. Manisha says he can share his pain with them. He says his love, Abhira, got married to Anshuman. He regrets how he kept her in the dark and betrayed her. She waited for him for seven years, but now she is gone. He asks for a knife, saying he wants to scrape out her memories, saying he used to see her in the mirror, and now how will he live now that she is not with him? He breaks down, saying she is finished.

Sanjay receives a call from Geetanjali's phone, but it is Daddu who is speaking. Daddu is crying as he says that Geetanjali is missing, and he falls. Armaan says he will call neighbors; they will take him to the hospital. While Armaan goes to the Goenka house to look for Geetanjali, Tanya and Krish come home and inform him that Abhira's wedding has been canceled. Armaan says he left before that. While Maira gets scared seeing Geetanjali at the Gokenka house, Geetanjali comes close and hugs Maira.

Precap: Geetanjali threatens Armaan that she will kill herself if he leaves her for Abhira, while Armaan promises he won't. While Abhira and Anshuman are in a cafe, they talk about something. As Abhira leaves, Anshuman falls; a doctor present there checks his pulses and declares him dead! What twist awaits? Stay tuned to know!
