Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 1st June 2025 Written Episode Update: Abhira is Shocked to Know Anshuman is Tanya's Brother!

The last we saw, when Abhira and Kaveri were discussing what dress to wear, Kaveri got emotional and handed her a saree that had been gifted to her by her father-in-law. She told Abhira how she expected her son and grandson to be supportive of her in old age, and here Abhira is fulfilling that responsibility. Kaveri feels guilty for Abhira, but Abhira assures her that she is fine and happy. Abhira asks Vidya and Kaveri to promise to not create any scene at the engagement function.

Whereas at Kuching Sanjay and Kajal are greeting guests, and whereas Manisha and Manoj are discussing if Kaveri and Vidiya will come, Manisha gets happy as she sees them entering. People start to talk about how Kaveri and they all got kicked out of the house and show sympathy for how they live in a small house now. Abhira tells Kaveri and Vidya to ignore and smile. Sanjay and Kajal greet them; they get surprised when Kaveri blesses them. Krish is observing this, as three of them are mingling rest of the family.

Sanjay asks Krish why he didn't greet Vidya and Kaveri and why he didn't take their blessing. He says what his in-laws will think about them. Krish simply says Kaveri's time is gone now and he doesn't have time to discuss the past. While Kaveri asks Manisha about Aryan, she tells how he is busy in the US studying. They all discuss Abhir, Daksh, Ruhi, and how Abhir and Chru have gotten jobs in Japan. Kajal proposes how great it will be if the whole family gathers for Krish's marriage. While Abhira asks about Tanya on cue, she makes an entry. There is some misunderstanding in her song; she starts to shout at staff over ruining her entry. The whole family is shocked by her behavior. It was Krish's turn to dance; he performs it for her.

While Abhira spills her drink on Anshuman, who is busy on the phone, and his dress gets ruined, Abhira thinks he might be Krish's function. While the function moves forward, as Tanya is making her speech, she mentions her brother, and they invite him on stage. It turns out Anshuman is Tanya's brother.

While Armaan is busy tackling Maira, they play a childish game. Geetanjali comes in, and Armaan, quickly feeling embarrassed, cleans everything. Geetanjali asks about Maira's project, and she has bought everything that is required. He thinks about Daddu's words and thinks about why he is so dependent on Geetanjali for Maira. He says he can't be this dependent. He tells Geetanjali to send him a list from now onwards, and he will check her work. Geetanjali asks if she is doing anything wrong. Armaan expresses how he doesn't want to give her fake hopes and doesn't want to be dependent on her. Geetanjali says she does it for her own happiness; Armaan feels like Geetanjali is not getting anything in return. She requests Armaan to not let Maira away from her; he asks her why she is so worried.

Precap: Armaan will see Krish's engagement function on television; he will see how happy Abhira looks, and he will wonder if Abhira never cared about him or their daughter and if she is happy without them. While Krish will insult Kaveri, and when Abhira intervenes, he will say to her how she could not handle her family, business, or child, Kaveri will slap Krish!
