Precap: Armaan is seen holding a coffee in his hand and is searching for Abhira.

The Friday episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai started off with Armaan who is seen searching for Abhira as he wants to have coffee with her. 

Armaan ask Abhira's roommates about Abhira as they told him that she is in her room as she is not feeling well. Abhira who is seen having chocolate got a call from Armaan. Armaan called and started his own thing saying I am looking for you since morning. 

Armaan did not let Abhira speak and said I am searching for you with two cups of coffee. In anger Abhira disconnected the phone. Armaan got a call from Mayra who informed him that Abhira is having a girly pain and wants to eat rajma chawal. 

Mayra saw chocolates lying in the way which led her to the living room as gifts are present there. Mayra met Madhav who got gifts for her and loved her. Mayra asked him why did he took so much time to return to home?

Madhav said I took lesser time than her to return. Vidya asked Mayra to first let Madhav have food after which she can open her presents. 

Armaan got induction from the canteen as his roommates entered. They asked what is he doing with the induction. Armaan told them he is making rajma chawal for all of us and asked them to help him out. 

One of his friends cut his finger and asked to do another task. He again got chilly powder in his eyes and because of him they all got into a mess and fell down on the ground. 

Madhav is seen sitting at the dining table with his family. Vidya got his favourite food but Kajal came in between and asked his brother to have his favourite dal baati. Madhav tasted that food first. He praised Vidya's food. 

Madhav informed them that he has taken early retirement and will spend all his time now with his family. Upon hearing that Kajal got upset as Vidya asked what is wrong with her ? Your brother wants to spend his time with me which is making you unhappy?

Vidya asked Kiara to give her hand made food to a beggar outside as she doesn't have any respect in this house. 

A lady knocked at Abhira's room as the latter thought it is her roommates. An unknown girl barged into her room. Abhira shouted for help but was stopped as it was Armaan. 

Armaan got rajma chawal for her. He sat her down and asked her to eat it. He gave her pain killers, hot water bag, hot water, pen drive with a collection of feel good films and a soft toy a teddy bear for her to bear with her pain. 

Abhira started feeling loving about Armaan and got touched by his gesture. He asked Abhira that from next time he will mark the date so he would be ready for it. 

Abhira told Armaan that he is such a green flag. At that time Armaan saw the white board which had written Armaan is such a red flag. He asked why did she wrote that? 

Abhira told him that her friends introduced her with the concept of red and green flag. She told him that when he called he interrupted her to say anything. And when she called he didn't picked up her phone. So in anger she wrote that. 

Armaan told her I got all this thing for you and was about to do your pedicure. Upon hearing it Abhira rubbed off the red flag sentence from the white board. At that time her friends walked in. 

They saw the lady aka Armaan. Abhira asked him to leave but they asked who is see? Abhira told them that she is her pedicure therapist. They asked her to have her pedicure. Armaan started doing Abhira's pedicure. 

Both her friends saw the gifts lying on the bed and asked did Phoolchand aka Armaan got it for her? Armaan asked Abhira to take his name. She said yes Armaan got it for her. One of her friends asked Armaan to do her pedicure as well but Abhira said the lady wants to go to another place for the same.
