Precap: Abhira asked Lavanya what happened to her? The latter told her that she is finding about the new boy (Armaan) who entered the college. Abhira told her to focus on studies but instead Lavanya told her to focus on herself. 

The Friday episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai started off with Armaan entered his room and saw the two roommates fighting over a towel. Armaan came and saw both of them fighting. 

Mayra told Dadi sa, Vidya and Kajal that Armaan had gone to Abhira's college to bring her back and to start off their new relationship. Dadi sa and Kajal expressed their doubt and concern over their relationship. 

Abhira called Vidya and asked her what Armaan is doing here? She asked to speak to Mayra and told her that she knows she is the one who sent him to her college. Mayra pretended she isn't aware of it and lied her that Armaan suddenly thought of studying so I told him to go to your college and disconnected Abhira's phone. 

He introduced himself to them. The two boys  him to do 50 push-ups in order to stay in the room as it's their rule. Armaan confidently did 49 push-ups and as he was about to complete all the rounds Abhira came and he fell on the ground. 

Seeing Abhira both the boys hide behind Armaan. Abhira asked him what are you all doing? Armaan funnily told her that we are in international form and hearing it she left the room. 

Armaan came behind Abhira and stopped her. Abhira asked him why is he calling her Abhira? As sometime ago he was calling her Aunty ji and warden. And saying this she left. 

Armaan stopped her and said I have come here to give our relationship a second chance. Upon hearing it she came back and said this is not possible now at this stage of their lives. 

Abhira told him that in last 10 years they have stayed afar each other than staying together. She told him because of Ruhi, Anshuman and Geetanjali they have stayed separated all this while. 

Armaan told her that because of my personality our relationship has suffered but now I will handle and change myself and he said will do whatever she wants. 

Abhira told Armaan that if we want to we should be together not because of our families or because of Mayra but only if we want to stay together. Armaan agreed it to that they want to live together. Abhira uttered 'Cheese ki factory.' 

Meanwhile, Mayra told Dadi sa that she spoke to Armaan and he was sounding happy. Vidya said I think Armaan will be able to get Abhira back. Mayra asked them to prepare for Diwali pooja. 

Kajal asked Dadi sa to make Krish and Tanya to sit for the diwali pooja. Vidya said let's avoid them because then Tanya will not eat and her BP will shoot up and they both will get a chance to fight with each other. 

Kajal said you didn't want them to sit because you want Armaan and Abhira to sit for the pooja. Kajal said you are saying in a way that Armaan will hundred percent get Abhira back. 

Vidya told her yes she thinks so. Mayra said don't say ill things about them. Kajal told Mayra that God doesn't listen to every prayers of kids. Dadi sa scolded both of them and said children learn from watching elders. Dadi sa asked Mayra to prepare her list for crackers. 

Abhira told him that we need to avoid all the hatred, anger and baggage of the past and move forward to make a fresh start. Armaan introduced himself as a stranger and said I am Armaan.

He asked for her name to which Abhira said you only find it out. Armaan said Sharmaji I heard you called me 'Cheese ki factory'. They both shyly left. Abhira came back to her room and asked Lavanya what happened to her? The latter told her that she is finding about the new boy (Armaan) who entered the college.
