Actor Vivek Oberoi who got a massive success from Yash Raj Films Saathiya entered into the Hindi Film Industry with love from his fans and followers. He was every woman's dream man and was considered a decent actor by the critics as well. 

The directors and producers were willing to put money on him till the time his destiny turned around and made his film career absolutely numb and downward. 

This was in the year 2003 when Vivek and Salman got into a fight over Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who allegedly was dating Vivek. Salman had issues with Vivek for dating Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. 

In 2003 Vivek held a press conference against Salman and told them how he is threatening him and his family members. He said because of Salman no one wanted to work with him and boycotted him completely from the film industry.

At last Vivek concluded with Apart from that, my personal life was completely in a mess. I went into depression, and just like any ‘mama’s boy’, I went to my mother and cried a lot. I asked the ‘Why me?’ question a lot. All she said was, ‘Did you ever ask yourself that question when you were winning awards, making films, and getting followed by fans?
