TV Actor Vibhu Raghave Passes Away After Battle with Colon Cancer Friends Pay Tribute

Television actor Vibhu Raghave, known for his role in the show Nisha Aur Uske Cousins, has passed away following a prolonged fight with colon cancer. He was 37, and his real name was Vaibhav Kumar Singh Raghav. Reportedly, Raghave took his last breath in Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai.

Vibhu, who had been battling the illness for over a few years, was diagnosed in 2022 and passed away on June 2nd. The news of his demise was confirmed by actors Kaveri Priyam and Karan Veer Mehra on social media. His close friends and colleagues from the television industry, including actors Addite Malik and Simple Kaul, expressed their grief and paid heartfelt tributes on social media.

Actress Simple Kaul shared an emotional post, remembering Vibhu as “one of the most positive people” she had known. Addite Malik also penned a touching message, calling him a “fighter” and praising his strength during the battle.

A note has been shared, and it reads, “We invite all those who knew & loved him to join us in honoring his life & bidding him a peaceful farewell. Funeral Procession: 11. Relief Rood, Prakash Nagar, Dnyaneshwar Nagar, Jogeshwari West, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400047. 1 PM Onwards. (Mother) Anupama Raghav, (Father) Late Ravindra Kumar Singh, (Brother) Aishwarya Raghave, (Sister) Garima Singh Tyagi (sic),” the note further read. Simple Kaul shared the same post and wrote, “Aum Namah Shivay.”

In 2022, Vibhu had publicly shared his diagnosis through social media, raising awareness about colon cancer and encouraging others to prioritize their health. His openness and courage inspired many.

Vibhu has always been open about his journey on social media, and in a recent video, he shared that the disease has spread to multiple organs, including his liver, spine, bones, and lungs. However, he stayed hopeful and strong, saying, “It was shocking. I was worried for a few days… but the only treatment right now is chemotherapy. Everything is going well now. Chemotherapy will shrink it.”

The news of his passing has deeply saddened fans and peers across the entertainment industry. Vibhu will be remembered not only for his performances but also for his resilience and positivity.
