Actress Triptii Dimri who made her debut with Laila Majnu gained popularity with her limited screen time in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's film Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandana. 

It was this film after which the actress started getting a plethora of films and that too with some of the biggest producers and filmmakers. Now, according to a report Triptii is set to play actress Parveen Babi's in her biopic.

A source close to the project said it is being developed as a limited-edition series for Netflix with Shonali Bose as the director. The idea is to take it on floors by March 2026. 

However, neither Netflix or the actress has confirmed about the Bad Newwz fame actress's presence playing Amar Akbar Anthony famed Parveen Babi. 

 Parveen Babi was a groundbreaking Indian actress who became one of the highest-paid and most glamorous stars of the 1970s and early 1980s, redefining the image of the Bollywood heroine as a Westernized, liberated woman. She made her debut in 1973 with Charitra. She used to often star opposite Amitabh Bachchan in the films. 

Despite her successful career appearing in over 70 films her life was tragically affected by her struggles with mental health issues specifically paranoid schizophrenia, which led her to withdraw from the film industry in 1983 at the peak of her career. She passed away in 2005.

Last year Triptii was seen in three films. The first being Dharma Productions Bad Newwz opposite Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk. She was also starred in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Waala Video with Rajkummar Rao. And gave a blockbuster hit with Kartik Aaryan in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. 

The actress was last seen in yet another Dharma Productions Dhadak 2 opposite Siddhant Chaturvedi. Triptii is set to star in massive projects starting out with Animal Park with Ranbir Kapoor. A film with Vishal Bharadwaj opposite Shahid Kapoor. 

She also has Spirit with Prabhas directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. And also has an untitled film with director Imtiaz Ali where she is collaborating with Fahadh Faasil. To know such latest updates, stay tuned to serialboosters.com Thank you!
