Superboys of Malegaon Review: What is the Hype all About?

The film follows the journey of an aspiring filmmaker, the hustle and struggles as he, together with his group of friends, makes a film for his town, Malegaon.

The film is based on a true story. The film takes its inspiration from Faiza Ahmad Khan’s documentary ‘Supermen of Malegaon,’ which was also a super hit and was made in 2008 and released in 2012.

The film beautifully portrays the life of Nasir Shaikh, an amateur filmmaker from the town of Malegaon. His keen interest in film and Bollywood persuades him to create a film for his town, Malegaon, by the people of Malegaon.

The film is the portrayal of passion, friendships, quirks, and relations.

With an IMDb rating of 8.1, the film features an exceptional cast and remarkable acting. Directed by Reema Kagti and written by Kagti and Varun Grover. Leaves the audience spellbound with its quicks and goofiness.

Produced by Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby, it is a low-budget film but is showing a promising traction.

Writing

The screenplay by Varun Grover and dialogues by him, Shoaib Zulfi Nazeer, hit the right spot as they show a beautiful amalgamation of breaking free from routine life and a desire to do something.

The film comes across as a breath of fresh air, nonconventional, and what makes it more amazing is the true events that inspired this story. The fact that the characters are inspired by real life makes the story more authentic and inspiring to watch.

As there are many in the country who dare to dream big but not having enough sources stops them, this story is an inspiration to those to dream big and work big.
