Then telugu actress Sreeleela who rose from Pushpa 2: The Rule dance number Kissik. After which the actress apart from the South Film Industry started getting tons of offers from the Hindi Film Industry. 

One of the biggest production in the country is Dharma Productions who has approached Sreeleela for one of their most anticipated film Dostana 2. It's being said that the south actress has replaced Janhavi Kapoor in the film. 

Earlier, when the film was announced the original cast was Karti Aaryan, Janhavi Kapoor and Lakshya Lalvani. After Kartik and Karan Johar's famous fallout during the pandemic the actor was dropped as confirmed by the production house. 

However, a few days back National Award winner Vikrant Massey confirmed that now he is a part of the film playing one of the leads. He also confirmed that Lakshya is also very much part of the film. 

Although the 12th Fail actor didn't reveal the leading actress of the film. A report stated The story of Dostana 2 will remain the same but the cast and the director have been changed. Janhvi Kapoor, who was roped in to play the female lead earlier, is no longer a part of the film.

Instead, the makers are considering Sreeleela for the part. Her dance number in Pushpa 2: The Rule has made her a much sought-after name in the movies. And the team of Dostana 2 are extremely keen on having her in the film.

For the unversed, Lakshya was supposed to make his debut with Dostana 2 but instead he was cast in Dharma Production's another film  Kill and made his Bollywood debut with it. 

On the work front, Lakshya is receiving thunderous applause for his recently released webseries Ba***ds of Bollywood. Where he pulled of his character Aasmaan Singh's role effortlessly. The series is directed by Aryan Khan and is produced by Gauri Khan under Red Chillies Entertainment.

Talking about Janhavi her rom-com Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari also produced by Dharma Production has released today in the theatres. The film is getting good reviews for its fun, humour and story. 

As far as Sreeleela is considered she is all set to star in Anurag Basu's Aashiqui 2 with Kartik Aaryan. This film will mark her Bollywood debut. She is also in talks for the film named Diler opposite Ibrahim Ali Khan. To know such latest updates, stay tuned to serialboosters.com Thank you!
