Sonam Kapoor got visibly emotional as she paid a heartfelt tribute to the late fashion designer Rohit Bal during an event in Gurugram. The actor’s emotional moment was captured in several videos that went viral on social media. This took place at the Blenders Pride X FDCI Fashion Tour 2025, which was held on a Saturday. Rohit Bal, known for his iconic contributions to Indian fashion, passed away in November of the previous year at the age of 63.

In one video shared on Instagram, Sonam is seen wiping away tears while gracefully walking the ramp. Despite her emotions, she takes a moment to greet the audience with folded hands, which reflects her deep respect for the late designer. Sonam wore a stunning white ensemble paired with a heavily embellished ivory jacket styled with red flowers in her tied-up hair. The outfit beautifully complemented the somber yet graceful tribute to Rohit Bal.
