One of the most popular director who has  emerged in Bollywood to make spectacular romantic comedy film is director Shashank Khaitaan. Shashank was introduced by Dharma Productions and made his debut with Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. 

He is one of the luckiest director for Karan Johar who launched him. Shashank went onto make films such as Badrinath Ki Dulhania and Dhadak. Shashank has also evolved and had been producing films as well simultaneously. 

Shashank's upcoming film Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is set to release tomorrow on the occasion of Dussehra. The film stars Varun Dhawan, Janhavi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Akshay Oberoi and Maniesh Paul in pivotal roles. 

The director in an interview spoke about Sunny Sanskari and on various other topics as well. About Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari he said Iam returning to theatres with Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. It’s a mazedaar genre and I love making films in this space. I enjoyed working with my actors. Moreover, we are releasing our film on Dussehra. Hence, everything is aligning well. Our goal is to create a sweet film that entertains the audience. Hopefully, there would be a lot of laughter in cinemas. Bahut mazaa hoga aur end mein kuch aansoo mein bhi honge.

Shashank spoke about the business aspect of the filmmaking and said There might be demand for something and you might be incapable of doing it. It is important to know who you are and what excites you. It is very important for filmmakers to delve into a film that will keep them passionate about it until the very last day. If I start working on a film because of market demands or because yeh genre chal raha hai I will lose interest in it myself very early. And if you lose interest you will never end up being loyal to your film eventually. Hence, we need to choose stories that’ll continue to excite us. 

Shashank also spoke about the clash between Kantara: Chapter 1 which is releasing tomorrow as well. He said I also genuinely don’t know. Our distribution team led by Bhumika Tewari is working towards it. We are trying to get the fairest deal for the movie and we hope that we can get the maximum screen count. Its going decently well and I think we should be okay. I also hope both Kantara and Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari do well.

Shashank also spoke about his next directorial film which he will soon announce. But he is definitely ready to work on his next and be on his next film set sitting on his director's chair. 

Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumar is produced by Dharma Productions. The film revolves around Varun aka Sunny and Janhavi aka Tulsi who pretend to be a couple to get their Exes Sanya aka Ananya and Rohit Saraf aka Vikram feel jealous and get back.
