One of the actors who gracefully enjoys an extraordinary life with panache is Shahrukh Khan. According to a report on a news portal have Ketan Raval, who happens to be a vanity van vendor spoke about how vanity vans were introduced. 

He said initially the vanity vans were introduced for basic things like for changing clothes and for basic necessities while shooting in remote areas and locations. 

He spoke about Shahrukh Khan's vanity van and said his van is so big that he cannot take it in the interiors. He also informed that the actor takes his vans for shooting at remote locations. 

He also said about John Abraham's vanity van and his obsession with the colour black for his vanity van. Ketan said John wanted floor-to-ceiling window so he could look out and let natural light flood the space. But he also insisted on everything being black – the floor, the walls, the sink, even the toilet. Nothing that isn’t black. So the only light entering is framed by an entirely dark box.

One interior designer who works for designing vanity vans said inside Kangana Ranaut's vanity van some of the interiors are made up of sheesham wood. 

Talking about the cost of making vanity vans the figure differs from basic to mid to luxury vans. The basic model will cost between ₹15-20 lakhs with small area and an air conditioner. The mid size will cost around with couch, television, small pantry and washroom around ₹35-50 lakhs. However, the highest including the facilities of gym and stuff related to recliners etc cost around ₹75-1 crore. 

And surprisingly the Band Baaja Baarat actor has kept three vanity vans. One is for his gym, one for his personal use and one for his personal chef as he likes to have food with a live kitchen setup on his film set. 

On the work front, Shahrukh Khan has recently produced his son Aaryan Khan's directorial debut Ba***ds of Bollywood. He also has Tiger Vs Pathan, Pathan 2 and King in the pipeline.
