Sasural Simar Ka Actor Dipika Kakar Diagnosed With Stage Two Liver Cancer

Renowned television actress Dipika Kakar yesterday, that is, Tuesday, May 27th, shared the devastating news of her being diagnosed with stage two liver cancer, which made her fans and colleagues fill her Instagram with encouraging and supportive texts.

Dipika wrote, "As you all aree, the last few weeks have been quite difficult for us... walking into the hospital for a pain in the upper area of my stomach... and then finding out it’s a tennis ball-sized tumor in the liver... and then finding out that the tumor is second-stage malignant (cancerous)... it has been one of the most difficult times we have seen (sic)." “I am all positive and determined to face this and walk out stronger, InshAllah! With my entire family being by my side... and all the love and prayers pouring in from all of you, I will sail through this too!” she added to keep her in prayers.

A lot of people, Dipika's friends and colleagues, wished her recovery; a few amongst them were Shraddha Arya, who wrote, “Prayers and lots of love.” whereas Arti Singh wrote, “You will be fine. Prayers for you, and aap jaldi thik ho jaoge.” And there were plenty of such messages.

Dipika is a known name in the television industry and rose to fame with her serial Sasural Simar Ka, and later she participated in the popular reality show Bigg Boss season 12; she won that season. Dipika married her fellow Sasural Simar Ka actor Shoaib Ibrahim in 2018, and in the year 2023, the couple welcomed their first baby.
