Saba Azad the girlfriend of superstar Hrithik Roshan has suddenly come into a limelight because of her relationship with Hrithik Roshan. Born as Saba Singh Grewal has been active in the film industry since 2008. However, she is currently seen in some of her best works now. 

In a recent interview the actress has opened up about her career, relationship with Hrithik and her parents perspective. Talking about her parents take on her marriage she said when I was 6 years old my parents sat me down and told me that it's up to you whether you want to get married or not it's totally up to you. And we will be happy with whatever choice you make. 

Saba spoke about not having any aspiration about typical Bollywood films or roles. She called herself as a greedy actress and said I will like playing roles of a urban like but that part will be somewhat close to me. 

She further said but I will enjoy playing a role far more diffrent from my personality and perspective. Where I can apply myself fully and completely. And where there will be a requirement to do a lot of preparation being going on a film set. 

She spoke about her love and admiration for also leading and playing a strong and complex woman character on the silver screen as she enjoys playing the role of a woman who have their own strong trajectory and claim their own space. 

The actress even addressed the ever relevant issue of the film industry called typecast. Saba told that people asked me whether I can speak Hindi or not? As she doesn't have the conventional looks of being an Indian actress. 

She said that I need to keep telling people that I can speak in Hindi. It is always a challenge to break out of stereotypes. And when a director or a producer cast you differently for a role where even you have doubt if you can pull off or not that is the feeling every actor awaits. 

She also spoke about her theatre background. She said I come from a theatre family. It is a given fact that theatre doesn't pay well. In that case you need to love your craft in order to keep going. For me it's all about stories that moves you. I am very passionate about reaching out to people with stories and the format of storytelling.
