Namit Malhotra's greatest of the great epic Ramayana Part 1 starring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram is one of the most anticipated films of the World Cinema. With technicians like A.R. Rahman and Hollywood composer Hans Zimmer the film is highly awaited by lovers of cinema. 

The first look which was released a couple of months ago created a massive buzz around it where audiences where cheering and celebrating it. Comments such as cannot wait to witness the epic story on screen were posted on social media in tons. 

Recently, actor Ravie Dubey who is going to play the role of Lord Ram's brother Lakshman shared his script for the divine character he is going to play on the silver screen. 

He took to his Instagram handle and shared a photo of his script which says "For Ravie Dubey". It's written Valmiki's Ramayana Part 1. Adapted and written by Shridhar Raghavan and Nitesh Tiwari. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari. 

Ravie while posting the photo captioned it in Hindi as Dharm ki hai dhwaja, satya ka hai naam, kan kan mein gunje, bas tera sangyan. Bhakti, shakti, gyaan ka dhaam, dhairya dhani hai, maha guni hai, vishwa vijay hai Ram. Our collective effort, our sincere attempt, and our only intent is to bring glory to Lord Ram’s name. Jai Sri Ram. Happy Vijay Dashami. 

Apart from Ranbir and Ravie the film stars a plethora of actors cast in various divine roles. Starting from Sai Pallavi who is playing Sita Maa, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, Yash as Ravan Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi, Amitabh Bachchan as Jatayu, Arun Govil as King Dashrath, Vivek Oberoi as Vidyutjiva and Kajal Agarwal as Mandodari to name a few. 

The film is reportedly being made on a budget of ₹4000 crore. It is one of the most expensive films in Indian cinema. The first part of the film is expected to cover the life of Shri Ram & Mother Sita up until the time of Sita's abduction by Ravana. The film is directed by Nitesh Tiwari. 

The first part of the film is set to release on Diwali 2026 followed by second part to release the next Diwali in 2027. The film is mounted as a visual spectacle with world class VFX with an aim of presenting an authentic, sacred and stunning adaptation of the epic for the global audience.
