Kannada actress Rashmika Mandana front runner for Krrish 4 ?

Rakesh Roshan's Krrish franchise is India's own homegrown superhero franchise. The makers are planning something massive and unheard of as they are aiming to cast fresh faces in the film to give it a unique touch to add a new perspective to it. 

As the production house is working on pre-production of Krrish 4, the makers are sorting out the starcast of the film. They are looking for actors from across the Indian film industries to suit their parts in the film. 

Discussions are taking place to cast Rashmika as she is the front runner to star as a lead actress opposite Hrithik Roshan. There were other actresses competing to get cast but the makers are expected to finalize Rashmika. 

If this report came out to be true then her fans and the fans of the franchise would be on cloud 9 to get their favourite heroine to get cast in one of the biggest franchise of the country. Also, it would be the first time Rashmika and Hrithik will share screen space together. 

Earlier this year the makers revealed one of the biggest news on the film as this time not Rakesh Roshan but our very own Greek God Hrithik Roshan will helm the project of Krrish 4. It will mark Hrithik Roshan's debut as a director. 

This news came as a surprise for Dhoom 2 actor's fans and led them super excited to now witness what new their favourite actor will bring new to the table in Krrish 4 as a filmmaker while being the lead. 

While the official plot is still under wraps and the script is reportedly in the process of evolving, the most consistent reports and popular speculations suggest a theme. 
Krrish must utilize time travel to combat a new, major threat that could involve the return of the alien Jadoo and necessitate saving his family or correcting a twist in the timeline.

The earlier three films were directed by Rakesh Roshan. The franchise started off with Koi... Mil Gaya (2003), Krrish (2006), Krrish 3 (2013). Now, Krrish 4 is expected to go on floors later this year. The film is expected to release in Diwali 2027. However, makers have not confirmed the release date of the film as of yet. 

On the work front, Rashmika has Animal Park with Ranbir Kapoor, Atlee's next film with Deepika Padukone and Allu Arjun. Apart from that she also has Pushpa 3 in the pipeline. Her slate and calender is brimming with entertaining films for her fans and well wishers.
