Actor Ranbir Kapoor said dying to direct a film

Born in the legendary Kapoor Family which is considered to be the first family of the Indian cinema has Ranbir Kapoor in the front foot to carry forward their illustrious legacy. The Actor recently turned 43 and spent the special day with his wife and actress Alia Bhatt and daughter Raha.

To make the special day Ranbir did an Instagram live from his brand ARKS official account. The actor can be seen in a red shirt donning a moustache and clean shaven look. He showcased his evergreen charm and answered many questions of his fans. 

He spoke on length about his upcoming film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali titled Love & War. Speaking on the same he said Love and War is a film directed by Mr. Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and it stars one of my two favourite actors, Vicky Kaushal and, of course my super talented wife Alia Bhatt, and it’s directed by the man who taught me everything about cinema, whatever I know about acting, was seeded in by him, and he was a master then, and I’m working with him 18 years later, and he’s even bigger master today. So I’m very happy with that collaboration.

He also surprised his fans and well wishers with the idea of directing a film as he mentioned is on his bucket list. He said I am dying to direct a movie. I have actually started a writers’ room recently. I am trying to inspire myself with the two ideas I have. I am starting to work on it, but it is definitely on my to-do list in the next couple of years.

Ranbir realised how in 7 years he will turn 50 during his instagram live and said Just imagine, it’s just seven years till I hit 50, it just hit me. I was making a video and I looked at my grey hair and realised in 7 years, I am going to be 50. Life just goes by too fast. Just live every day to your fullest, give it your best, be kind, be loving, and just have fun in your life, and just be a good person.

Ranbir will next be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War which is set to release in March next year. The film will star Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. The film is set to be a story of the two Indian Army Officer who fell in love with the female protagonist Alia Bhatt. 

Next up he will play the divine role of Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana: Part 1. He will be seen alongside actors like Sai Pallavi, Ravi Dubey, Yash, Amitabh Bachchan, Arun Govil, Sunny Deol, Vivek Oberoi, Lara Dutta, Sheeba Chaddha, Rakul Preet Singh to name a few. 

The film is produced by Namit Malhotra under his banner Prime Focus Studios. Allu Aravind, Madhu Mantena and Yash under his production house Monster Mind Creations. The film is planned to be a two part film and the music is given by legends like A.R. Rahman and Hans Zimmer. The first part is slated to release on Diwali 2026.
