The trailer of Raid 2 is out, fans are excited to see the return of their loved stars and movie.
Raj Kumar Gupta’s crime thriller 'Raid 2' trailer was launched on Tuesday, that is, 8th April, in Mumbai. It is a sequel to Raid, which was released in the year 2018.
The trailer looks promising as it features Ajay Devgn in all his glory as a tough IRS officer, Amay Patnaik, who is adamant to fight injustice and be the voice against the corrupt system.
While Riteish Deshmukh features in opposition, he is playing the role of a powerful politician.
Raid 2 is much like the first, based on the same concept as Raid, uncovering the dark secrets and the mind games that are played on a bigger level. The dynamic of those who are in power takes advantage of those who are not and will be cinematically portrayed. Corruption is the epitome of this.
The trailer begins with Ajay's strong entry as he smashes the door. The trailer shows Ajay getting charged up and preparing to fight those in power to put an end to the corruption. It is where Riteish's character will fight back till the battle is won; it will be a cut-to-cut fight.
Though the first part, Raid, was inspired by a real-life income tax raid from the 1980s, its success led to the creation of its sequel, which is Raid 2.
The film will be released on May 1, 2025, in theaters.
