Early Life and Education

Talking about her early days, she was born in Delhi and later did her MBA in marketing from Punjab Technical University.

Deepika tried her hand at ample things before making her way into acting; she worked in her father's garment business and had a brief stint at a bank.

But eventually she found herself in acting.

Turning Point

Her debut serial turned out to be a kickstart for her, as in 2011, she debuted with Diya Aur Baati Hum, where she played the role of Sandhya Rathi, an IPS officer, while balancing her responsibilities as a daughter-in-law.

Rest we all know how massive a hit that show was, and it ran until 2016, earning her widespread acclaim and several awards, including the Indian Television Academy Award for Best Actress—Popular.​
