Filmmaker Karan Johar, who starred Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan, admired Loveyapa. Taking to social media, he shared a heartfelt message congratulating the team for bringing the beautiful love story to life. Johar also praised director Advait Chandan for crafting a "hugely entertaining" film.

Taking to his Instagram post, Karan Johar pens an appreciation cum review of a movie post of Loveyapa with a poster picture of Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan.
