The reported recasting of such a crucial role has sparked significant discussion. Vikrant Massey, who originally played the character, reportedly declined the offer to reprise the role for the film. Sources suggest that Massey was hesitant to revisit the character's tragic end from Season 1 in a cinematic format.

This created an opening for Jitendra Kumar to step in, a move that showcases the actor's versatility and willingness to tackle a role drastically different from his usual image.
