Janhavi Kapoor the eldest daughter of legendary actress Sridevi has emerged as one of the most talented actress of the current generation. Earlier, in 2018 the actress used to get affected by trolls on social media and has publicly accepted about the same. 

She had also admitted the fact that she has managed to deal with it now and it doesn't bother her as much. Recently Janhavi in an interview to a leading magazine had spoken about the struggles of an insider and outsider in Bollywood. 

Janhavi said No one is interested in listening. Because we come from a privileged background, nobody really wants to hear us out. And that’s fair. I don’t think we should even complain, because we are very grateful for whatever we have got. If we sit here and say Oh things have also been very difficult for us well that’s the case for everyone.

The actress further said I don’t like this insider-outsider division, but the kind of struggles they face are very different, and we will never truly understand them. For us to complain that we’ve gone through a lot as well is just tone-deaf and honestly no one wants to listen to that. 

Last year on nepotism and coming from a film family of being Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor's daughter the actress said The legacy angle had become my identity. Now, it's a source of motivation. I reached a point in my life where I was so tired of being apologetic about it. This is my lineage. This is the family I am born into. 

This is the work they have done. Why should I let it take away from who I am? It is what it is now. I am thankful and grateful that I have got so much because of it. I will work harder to do justice to it. 

Janhavi who made her debut with 2018 film Dhadak under Shashank Khaitan appeared in films like Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, Roohi, Good Luck Jerry, Bawaal, Mr and Mrs Mahi. She is currently enjoying the release of her current film Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari in theatres. 

On the work front, Janhavi has Takht under Karan Johar, Peddi which is a Telugu film along with Ram Charan, Divyendu Sharma, Jagapathi Babu and Shiva Rajkumar. The film is slated to release next year. 

Janhavi also has AA 22 tentatively titled Allu Arjun's film no. 22 opposite the same actor. The film features Deepika Padukone, Mrinal Thakur and Rashmika Manana. It is directed by director Atlee. She also has The Paradise in Telugu opposite actor Nani. The film is directed by Srikanth Odela and is an Anirudh Ravichander's musical.
