Precap: Shashwat said pointing out to Ishani that the diamond which I was trying to find out was actually inside my home and now I have lost her forever.

The Wednesday episode of Kahani started off with Shashwat, Ishani and Piu standing at the entrance of his house where his sister welcomed them. Shashwat is seen speaking highly about Ishani and the torture he did onto her. 

Pihu told Shashwat that after what you did you are feeling that guilt and that itself is a very big thing. She asked him to take some rest now. Shashwat's sister offered to make breakfast and tea. Ishani told her that she will make it but she insisted upon that. 

Shashwat came into his room and asked Pihu to leave the room as he wants to talk to Ishani in private. On the other hand, Anurag is sitting alone in his house on the couch. His mother came to check on him.

She realized that he is upset and has not gone to college. Anurag didn't answered but she understood that due to Ishani's absence he is feeling lonely. She herself is missing Ishani's presence at home.

Shashwat started narrating his life story. He said that his father was a rich businessman and that he was born with a silver spoon. After a massive loss they lost all the money. He said at that moment he witnessed change in the behaviour of the people.

He said he decided on that day that he will earn lots of money. Then Suhasini came to his life and his fast paced life got a stoppage of peace and love. He was madly in love with her. After the mariage his son and Pihu was born. He told her he never ever felt so much happiness in his life. 

But after sometime Suhasini left them. His life took a u turn and he was unable to handle all the things. He confessed he did everything to fill that space in his life. He started drinking and had affairs but that darkness and space got stretched even more. 

Then his sister told him to find the happiness in his children. But he realized his children need someone to take care of them. His sister suggested him to get married. Shashwat told Ishani he never wanted to get married but because of the children he did marry her. 

Meanwhile, Anurag told his mom Ishani had gone again to that family who tortured her for so long. His mother told him she has gone as a well wisher and to fulfill her responsibility towards the family. She asked Anurag you also felt pity at the sight of Shashwat that is why you took him to the hospital. 

Why? Because you have humanity in you. Shashwat confessed to Ishani that when he saw Ishani and Anurag together for the first time the monster inside him evoked and he started to further oppressed her even more. 

He said he was shocked at his own behaviour. But now in retrospective he thinks what Nandini did with him he deserved that but what he did with Ishani is very wrong.
