Arshad Warsi & Jitendra Kumar ready to duel in film 'Bhagwat'

Arshad Warsi who is fresh off from the release of his recent release film Bhagwat with Akshay Kumar in Jolly LLB 3. He is again gearing up for a thrilling and intense film with Panchayat fame Jitendra Kumar called Bhagwat. 

The film set to stream on ZEE5 announced it on their social media handle. Taking to Instagram they captioned "And we thought all the plot twists of 2025 were over but the biggest one is here. Bhagwat is coming to blow your mind. Inspired by true events. Bhagwat coming soon, only on ZEE5."

The crime thriller film 'Bhagwat' follows Inspector Vishwas Bhagwat (Arshad Warsi) as he takes on what initially seems to be a straightforward missing woman's case in Robertsganj, Uttar Pradesh, only to have the investigation quickly spiral into a dark and disturbing web of deceit, hidden secrets, and suspected human trafficking, forcing him into a high-stakes face-off against a seemingly mild-mannered professor named Sameer (Jitendra Kumar), who is reported to be the film's antagonist.

The film is directed by Akshay Shere Bhagwat is produced by Jio Studios, Baweja Studios and Dog n Bone Pictures is all set to stream on the platform. 

Jitendra Kumar is best known for Panchyat for his character of Abhishek Tripathi who is the secretary of the Panchayat office of Phulera Village, Uttar Pradesh. He is often referred to by his designation Sachiv ji. He also got Filmfare Award for Best Actor in Comedy Series. 

On the work front, Jitendra will be seen in Panchayat season 5, Mirzapur: The Film, An Untitled Film with Ranbir Kapoor and Bada Naam Karega.
