Anupama 8th March 2025 Written Episode Update: Anupama Slaps Gautam. Will it Affect the Marriage?

In today's episode, Anupama goes on to call Rahi from her room as everyone is waiting for her downstairs; she sees blood.

Everyone teases Prem, and he blushes; they say that Prem will cry more than Rahi. Vasundhara says that boys don't cry. Leela counters that there is no problem in crying. Hasmukh jokes around.

Nothing happened; Anupama just freaked out. Rahi reassures that it was that lehnga that was heavy, so she fell down, and there is nothing to worry about.

Rahi asks how she is looking; Anupama gets emotional. Anupama brings Rahi down, and her cousins cover her before Prem sees her.

Prem is eager to see his bride, but they can't; they have put a cloth barrier between them.

Her cousin asks that they need shagun from him; Parag says he will pay the amount, 1 lakh, to everyone. Her cousins deny that they don't want money, and if it is for shagun, that will take 1100 rs.

Prem and Rahi finally see each other, and they are lost in each other's eyes.

Anupaa misses Anuj. Everyone is happy except Gautam.

The Varmala ceremony starts, and Prem teases Rahi, stepping on a platform so that she can't reach him easily. Rahi's cousins carry her, and as Prem is about to fall in this process, Parag catches him.

Finally, Varmala happens, and Rahi and Prem remember how far they have come; they think about their journey and moments. They now officially hold each other's hands.

They sit in the mandap for further rituals.

Seeing Pararthana and Ansh talking together, Gautam gets angry. Now Rahi's cousin is planning for an important ritual, which is to steal Prem's shoes, whereas Prem's family is all set to defend.

Prarthan has again had an interaction with Ansh; Gautam doesn't like that, as they are laughing together. Rituals have started; Pandit ji asks Rahi's family to be prepared for Kanya dan, and Vasundhara asks who will do it. Anupama wants to do it, but it is said that it is done as a couple. Vasundhra suggests that Leela and Hsmukh should do it. Raho stops and says that she wants Anupama to do this. Vsundhara says that a couple does that, not a single parent, and she won't tolerate this.

But Rahi defends that if a mother can play both roles, then she should. She says it is her right, and she should do it. Vasundhara is also rigid about it; Prem takes Rahi's side.

Leela also defends, saying that even if a mother does everything, a mother is not allowed to do things and stand alone; Leela also requests to let Anupama do it.

Parag shocks everyone by saying that they can do whatever they like, and it begins.

Anupama goes to check on food arrangements, Prarthana goes to the room to get her lehenga arranged, and Gautam puts allegations on Prarthana that she is making Ansh fall for her; she is doing it intentionally. Prarthana stops him.

Anupama is making last-minute arrangements, but she remembers something that she forgot, and she needs to go to Rahi's room.

Gautam is shouting at Prarthana and judging her character; Prarthana is disgusted that Gautam is thinking like that. Prarthana can't stand it anymore and shouts at Gautam for behaving like that with her. Gautam holds her tightly; they are shouting so loud that Anupama hears their interaction, but before that, Ansh comes to the room and sees Gautam and Prarthana in such a position. He asks Gautam to leave her hand; he talks disgustingly with him, and Prarthana asks him to leave. They start to fight physically, and things get out of hand, and Anupama intervenes.
