Anupama 27th May 2025 Written Episode Update: Anupama Defends Her Character and Love for Anuj

We last saw Raghav's sudden confession to Anupama; we see Gautam hears this whole exchange, and Rahi as well. Raghav apologizes to Anupama that he should not have done it here. Whereas Rahi feels anger as she saw that coming, Gautam plans to use this against Anupama. Raghav expresses how he doesn't want to lose their friendship. Anupama politely declines his love proposal, saying she already has enough love in her life. She mentions Anuj, saying a new name is written when an old one is removed, but in her heart it is Anuj, and nothing more than friendship can happen between them. She says if he accepts the friendship, then Raghav says he was just hopeful, and Anupama tells her she is not angry at her.

While Rahi, without listening to the whole matter, assumes the worst, Prem tries to make her calm, whereas Gautam tells Vasundhara everything. Rahi informs Prem about Raghav's love confession. Prem asks her to trust Anupama; Rahi fears that Raghav will take advantage of Anupama's emotions and take Anuj's place. Prem calms her, and they get back to functioning. But as Anupama asks everyone to have food, Vasundhara mentions another wedding, Anupama and Raghav's, and the whole family is shocked. Gautam and Vasundhara collectively character assassinate Anupama. Anupama feeds garbage in Gautam's mouth and insults him, whereas Vasundhara asks her to admit her affair. Anupama says if she was doing anything, then she wouldn't have been hiding, plus there is only friendship between them. Anupam insults Gautam and asks Vasundhara to think whatever they want; she defends her and Raghav's friendship.

When Vasundhara asks what Raghav was telling, Anupama says he was just expressing his feelings, while Vasundhara tells her that she also has feelings for Raghav; otherwise, she would have hit him. Anupama calmly tries to explain to Vasundhara, while Rahi expresses why Raghav is in Anupama's life; she expresses, If she doesn't like him being in her life, then why is he here? Anupama questions Rahi if she ever questioned her in-laws to remove Gautam. Why all the demands from her? Anupama says when she declined the offer, Raghav took a back step. She questions if they feel she doesn't have the right to make friends at this age. She mentions Anuj has a special place in her heart, and no one can replace him, and Raghav also knows that. They all take a leave.

Raghav feels guilty of ruining everything. Anil comes to visit him. He talks to him, saying he won't talk about the past but will talk about the present. He expresses how he is happy that he is moving on in his life. He says people will judge, but he should be happy. Anil expresses how he lacks courage, as he wanted to express this in front of everyone but didn't find the courage. Anil asks for forgiveness from him and leaves. While Parag asks Vasundhara and Gautam to mind their business, Parag says he just wants peace, and after marriage no one will keep connections with Anupama and her family; Mahi and Rahi can. While Gautam is filling Vasundhara's head, saying Mahi and Rahi have Anupama's influence, if she doesn't stop them, this will get ruined.

While Leela is daydreaming, what if Raghav and Anupama get married? Then what! Whereas Mahi and Aryan talk about how they thought the marriage would break, they discuss how Anupama has her own life and should be able to make her decisions. They say Gautam is behind this. Aryan told Mahi about his past and how he used to get intoxicated, and Mahi is understanding. While at home, Anupama talks to Anuj's frame, telling how everyone accused her, but she has only Anuj in her heart. She cries and expresses that she is missing Anuj extra today.

Precap: We see Prarthana's lawyer asking her to arrange proof against Gautam; they decide to record Gautam, and soon enough they get Gautam on camera speaking ill about Prarthana.
