Anupama 26th August 2025 Written Episode Update: Parag's Emotional Support to Prathana!

The episode starts with Parag saying he always thought Vasundhara Kothari's son would never get weak in front of anyone, but he did. He says to Prarthana that he loves her; Prarthana says he doesn't know how much happiness he gave her. He shows gratitude to all for fulfilling Prarthana's wedding responsibility in his absence. He refers to Ansh as son-in-law and asks him to take care of Prarthana forever.

Parag has bought a pendant; it was the first gift he gave to her that Prarthana had lost, and she cried. After that, he made many things for her, but she wanted the same pendant, so he made the same one, and this made Prarthana laugh. She says he has gifted her childhood. Jasleen says how weird Parag is—sometimes a villain and sometimes a hero.

Parag folds his hand; he always came to this house with the ego and pride of a successful businessman, but today a father has come. The differences are still there and will always be, but no one is greater than his daughter. He says he was guilty for choosing the wrong partner for her in the hope he would take care of her. Anupama adds that it was all fate's fault and not even the parents know about it. He says he couldn't see that the wrong relation was his mistake, and he always kept the family's reputation in front of the family and his ego of never being wrong. Anupama says that was not ego; that was a father's fear who didn't want to see that his daughter was in trouble because of him.

Parag says he has made a lot of mistakes. The first was to get her married without asking her choice, the second was to not see the wrong, and the third was to ignore the wounds on Prarthana. The last big mistake was when Prarthana told him the truth, and he didn't trust her, saying his business deals were a burden Prarthana was taking. He says a father's responsibility is not just getting married but to stand with her throughout and to understand the daughter as well. He says she came to them, and they understood her. He tellsAnil and Meeta how much they danced when Prarthana was born and the hospital had thrown them out. Parag says he will always be worried about her but is at peace that Anupama, Ansh, and the whole Shah house will treat her with respect. He says Vasundhara and Khyati's anger will take some time, but she can come to her home anytime. He says Papa is with her!

Anupama adds that these four simple words are important for a daughter, and Prem says he is so proud of Parag. They say together that their father is the world's best father. Parag takes a leave. Anupama sees him breaking down. She thinks about how a daughter's father is a daughter's father, despite class or status. Anupama goes to talk to him, saying everyone has the right to cry. Her heart feels less heavy. She says Prarthana is her daughter too. She says he is a great father, saying parents make mistakes but love their children so much, and what is greater than when they accept their mistake? She says Prarthana has a great upbringing, and it reflects on her, and what is in the past they should forget, and whatever will happen in the future will be best, and even Vasundhara and Khyati will accept.
