Anupama 22nd August 2025 Written Episode Update: Parag Takes a Stand for Prarthana! Will Rahi and Anupama's Differences Get Over?

The episode starts with Prarthana and Ansh's final wedding day. The rituals begin, and Prarthana is gifted a thoughtful gift in her bangles; they attach her family's picture, whereas Parag is seeing Prarthana's childhood picture and remembering the core memory when she says, "How is she looking as a bride?" At the same moment, he receives a picture from Prarthana dressed like a bride asking, "How is she looking?" Parag suddenly smiles, but reality hits him, and he gets emotional.

While Anupama and Rahi are in the middle of chaos, they try to talk, but Rahi shows a distant attitude and leaves, while Ansh comes all dressed up. Anupama remembers Samar, everyone gets emotional, and Leela says she doesn't have much to give; if Samar were here, he would have given everything. Hasmukh says an elder's blessing is above all, and she gives him a chain, while Pakhi also brings a ring. Toshu says he is his father's elder brother, but Samar used to take his responsibility, and when he has money, he will send them on a foreign trip. He hands a black check to him. While Prem gives Prarthana's childhood memories to him, and Bhavesh promises to send handmade achar, Mamaji has bought a watch, and Kijal has bought a small knife, saying it keeps him away from the evil eye.

Toshu gets emotional, saying he misses Samar, while Kinjal mentions Dimipi as well, how she died, and how Anupama was just there to save her. Kinjal says without any mistake if the blame falls on someone, that pain is unmatched, and Rahi has witnessed it, and the same is happening with Anupama, but Rahi refuses, saying Anupama's was carelessness. While Parag is crying alone in his room remembering Prarthana's memories, he laughs and gets sad; all is too overwhelming for him.

While the wedding rituals begin, Anupama sees a glimpse of Samar in Ansh; she gets emotional. He says in Samar's voice that he hates tears. Anupama says he is exactly like Samar—pure at heart, hardworking, and loves her the most. She says she will say the same thing that she said to Samar during the wedding, which is to be a good human, be responsible, and be a great father, but amidst this not to forget himself, and asks Prarthana to say the same.

While the celebration begins again, and Rahi in flow says she and Anupama will be in both teams, soon she realizes, but Hasmukh changes the topic, and Mamaji and Manoharji add a twist of fun. While Parag overhears Gautam and Vasundhara's talk about custody, where they were saying they will take that child at any cost, Parag is shocked and asks them, "Are you in your right mind asking for that child?" And that too without asking him? Gautam intervenes, and Parag gets angry and says once he was refusing to accept, and now he is claiming that. Parag says that child is Prarthana's! Parag gives the example of how Vasundhara has the first right on him, and in the same way, how could Prarthana leave the child?

He asks why they went there, saying they can't see Prarthana happy! Khyati says it's good they went; first they took their son, then sidelined another son, and now they are taking Mahi away. She says Anupama is feeding seeds of a second marriage in Mahi's head, saying it is all Anupama's fault. Parag says he too did a second marriage, and if Mahi wants to do it, then there is nothing wrong in that!

Whereas Prem and Rahi get time in the middle, and they do romance as they tease each other over ladki and ladkewalas. Whereas Vasundhara gets angry and says Mahi was their daughter-in-law and will always be and says that Prarthana's kid won't grow up poor, while Parag says Prarthana's child will be hers, and for that he can do everything. While Gautam thinks that he won't leave his stubbornness. While Ansh's Barat arrives.

Precap: Leela calls Vasundhara, saying she is not here, so her son has to do the ritual, whereas Anupama's dupatta catches fire. Rahi sees and rushes to help her; a scared Rahi, in fear of losing her mother, hugs her, saying she doesn't know what she would have done without her.
