Anupama 20th August 2025 Written Episode Update: Vasundhara's Custody Battle! While Mahi's Married Look Will Shock Everyone!

The episode starts with Bhavesh apologizing for turning the environment gloomy. Rahi says not to worry, saying he will get another job. Anupama tells him to enjoy it for now, while Leela tells him to bring his wife. He says she will fight, while Anupama tells him to make his wife understand and bring her too to the wedding, while the function begins again as Anupama resumes dancing and soon everyone joins, and one by one everyone applies haldi to the couple.

Suddenly lights start to flicker when Anupama and Rahi come at the same time to apply the haldi, but Prem changes the mood, while Mahi, seeing the couples enjoying themselves, feels a pain and gets away from the function. Anupama too misses Anuj and expresses her love in prayers. While Rahi breaks down thinking about Aryan and her haldi, she goes to her room and sees the dress that she wore that day and wears it. Mahi freaks out that nothing is left in her; she says she doesn't want to live alone, while Anupama sees Mahi is missing and decides to check on her.

While Mahi sees bangles and makeup and thinks how keen she was to get ready, she wears bangles and wears a bindi, imagining Aryan. She says only sindoor is missing; she applies it as well and wears mangalsutra, thinking how beautiful she is looking. She thinks, "Why is this not in her fate? Everyone has someone; why is she alone?" No one is there to take her on a date or surprise her; she cries, "Why do I have no one?"

While Anupama sees Vasundhara and Khyati, she rejoices in joy and asks, "Didn't Parag come?" She invites them inside, but her happiness is short-lived when Vasundhara says they are not here to get involved in the function; rather, they are here to free them from responsibility. She hands them a contract, and Leela asks, "What drama is this?" Vasundhara says they are not doing drama; she tells Prarthana that she is getting married by choice, but the child is Kothari's. Anupama asks what is written on the paper; Vasundhara asks her to stay away and says that it is written on the paper that Prarthana, after giving birth, will hand over the child to Kothari's. Anupama is disgusted.

Vasundhara says it is their matter; who is she to speak? She has this child, who has no relation to them. Gautam is the father, and Anupama says he is undeserving. While Vasundhara retaliates, calling Ansh incapable, they both taunt, while Anupama says, "Does she love the person who used to beat their daughter more?" Vasundhara says Gautamji is their son and tells Anupama that she has said what she has said, and the child will be there. Anupama shouts in a bold voice that a mother has all the right, and Prarthana alone has the right to that child. She says first and foremost the right is hers and then the father's and family's, but only if the mother wants.

Vasundhara says they are not here to hear her lecture; she says she said she wants the kid, and then she wants the kid. Anupama says, "Will they let go of their families' 5th generation this easily?" Vasundhara says they will take it away; Anupama tells them to try, saying she will make them see the start of the day; and Leela is proud of Anupama's words. Vasundhara reminds her of her status and wealth. Anupama says that she knew they had a lot of wealth, but what they don't have is decency. Vasundhara says that her ego will stay here. Anupama says she hasn't even seen it yet and calls Vasundhara's full name. Anupama reminds her that she still has the old Anupama's anger inside.

Precap: Anupama will tell Vadundhara that she won't let this happen, while Raja brings Mahi downstairs, where she is dressed like a married woman. Khyati will get furious and will blame Anupama for this, saying she didn't intentionally mean to hurt her. What will happen now? Stay tuned to know!
