Anupama 12th May 2025 Written Episode Update: Will Prarthana Take a Stand for Herself?

Leela questions Anupama's decision to bring Prarthana in; even she tells Prarthana she came for Ansh. Ansh shouts at her, resulting in Leela slapping Ansh.

Prarthana speaks up; she didn't want to go home; that's why she came to Anu. Anupama asks her family members to not say anything; she asks all male members to leave and asks her about the matter. Prarthana's state doesn't look good.

While Parag is still dealing with Vasundhara's betrayal, she says she understands his anger. She tells him about a more priority matter, that of Aryan and Mahi. Parag gets shocked. Vasundhara blames it all on Anupama. He says he won't let it happen.

Whereas Ansh's intentions are questioned, but he clarifies. Ansh says Gautam might have done something, and something big this time!

While Prarthana tells Anu the whole matter, she is shocked. She asks why she didn't tell Prem or Rahi. She says she thought this was a safe space. Leela is still in favor of letting her go home, but Anupama provides her the courage to fight for herself. The whole family provides her support. Anupama advises that running away is not an option, and at each turn she will get a man like Gautam. Prarthana asks if she will support her.

Mahi gets worried that if Anu gets involved, then Vasundhara won't get Aryan married to her. Raghav sees Anu leaving; he hopes everything will be fine.

Whereas at home Gautam creates a narrative that Prarthana has run away, and to find her, Prem pulls Gautam's collar, asking what he had done with Prarthana, Vasundhara is defending Gautam. Things get ugly; Parag shouts to calm them, and Anil asks to focus on finding Prarthan.

While Anu's family is worried about how the Kotharis will react to seeing Anupama there.

Gautam says Prarthana has changed; she fights, doesn't listen to him, and their differences are increasing. She put blame on Prarthan and said if she had an illness like her mother. Gautam has come prepared, as he knows Prarthana can create a scene, so he cut himself and portrays it as if Prarthana did this.

The whole family is shocked to see Gautam has tweaked the whole narrative. Prem and Rahi support Prarthana, whereas Gautam acts innocent. Rahi narrates the whole incident when Gautam tried to misbehave with him. She says if Prarthana was mentally unstable, then how come they didn't see it? Rahi says he is fooling us all!

Parag speaks up that he had trusted Gautam blindly, thinking he would love her most. He says if this all is true, then he will not leave him. He will show what true worth is!

Anupama comes and calls out Gautam's lies. Prarthan is with her. They all ask her if she is fine. Gautam shows fake concern as she shouts at him, asking him to not touch her. She says she feels disgusted with his touch. She says she doesn't want a child because she doesn't want a child to have such a father! Vasundhara asks her not to get influenced by others!

Precap: In the coming episode, as Prarthan will tell the truth about Gautam, he is all prepared as he shows them Prarthana and Ansh's picture. Will family believe Gautam?
