Alia Bhatt faced trolling for her comment on Alpha being her first action film!

Netizens on social media criticized the Student Of The Year actress heavily and made her remember her previous films Jigra and Heart of Stone. One of the comments of a user stated Alia has deleted Shaandar, Sadak, Kalank, Jigar and Heart of Stone from her filmography. 

Some of her supporters stood by her side and said those previous films of Alia had some minimal portions of intense action sequences as compared to Alpha who is going to be an out and out action film. The film is heavy on physical combat and high octane action scenes. 

Alpha will be Yash Raj Films first female led film starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh of the spy universe. Apart from them Bobby Deol will also play a pivotal role in the film. The film is directed by Shiv Rawail. It is slated to release on December 25, 2025. Alpha is expected to have Hrithik Roshan's cameo as Kabir Dhaliwal from War. 

On the work front, Alia has Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War starring Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. The film is said to be around two Indian Air Force Officers Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal who fall in love with the same woman Alia Bhatt. The film is slated to release in March 2026.
