The much-awaited sequel to the 2019 hit romantic comedy, De De Pyaar De 2, has finally dropped its first look, and it confirms the return of the charmingly mismatched couple, Ashish and Ayesha, played by Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh. However, this time, their love faces a whole new, hilarious, and potentially disastrous hurdle: Ayesha's family.

In the first film, Ashish, a 50-year-old businessman, had to introduce his 26-year-old girlfriend, Ayesha, to his estranged ex-wife and children, a situation that led to a delightful mix of chaos and comedy. 

Now, the tables have completely turned. The first-look motion poster reveals that Ashish must now travel with Ayesha to win the approval of her family, especially her father, Dev Khurana.

The tension is perfectly encapsulated in the movie’s official tagline: "Pyaar ka sequel hai crucial! Kya Ashish ko milega Ayesha ke parents ka approval?" (The sequel of love is crucial! Will Ashish get Ayesha's parents' approval?). 

This simple question sets the stage for a classic comedy of errors, as Ashish—who is significantly older than Ayesha's dad—tries to fit into the family dynamic.

Adding significant star power and a fresh new conflict is the inclusion of actor R. Madhavan, who will be playing Ayesha’s father. Madhavan’s character is expected to be the main source of challenge and comedy for Ashish, creating an amusing rivalry between the two men. 

This casting choice is particularly exciting for fans, promising a memorable battle of wits and chemistry between two seasoned actors.

While Ajay and Rakul lead the charge, the ensemble cast also features other talented actors like Tabu, Jimmy Shergill, Alok Nath, and Inayat Sood, with a special appearance by Tamannaah Bhatia.
