Vincy Aloshious has filed an official complaint against Tom Chako. Earlier, she had posted a video on Instagram sharing a disturbing experience from a film set, though in that video she didn't say any names, but speculations pointed it towards Shine Tom Chacko, and now she has filed formal complaints with the Internal Complaints Committee of the production and the Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA).
The complaint states actor Shine Tom Chacko's inappropriate behavior and drug use during the shoot of their film Soothravakyam.
About Vincy's Video
In the video, Vincy shares an incident from the shoot that hints at what was actually going on at the shoot location. Aloshious said, “While on location, when there was a minor problem with the shoulder of my costume, the actor came up to me and said it out loud, ‘Let me see, I’ll fix it for you.
She found this incident disturbing.
She further said that she witnessed Chacko consuming drugs during rehearsals. “He was spitting a white powder onto the table. It was very evident he was using drugs on set,” she claimed.
Aloshious reportedly raised the problem with the producers, but the shoot continued since the actor played a lead role.
Though initially she did not name anyone in her social media video, speculation quickly pointed to Shine Tom Chacko, given their recent collaboration.
Chacko had a history of drug abuse when he was arrested in 2015.

The Women in Cinema Collective (WCC) has praised Vincy Aloshious for her “courage” in publicly addressing the alleged misconduct and drug use by her co-star. In their official statement, the WCC praises her bravery in bringing the issue to light. They spoke about the norms, rules, and regulations that an organization should follow to ensure that shoots are done with equality and dignity.
