Armaan's emotional Plea to Abhira: 'We cannot live without you!'

The Thursday episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai was filled with emotional baggage and sorrow. The scene continues where Kesari pushes Abhira Jalebi Bai comes to her rescue and holds her.

Seeing Jalebi Bai Kesari in fear touches her feet and apologizes. The good old woman who is a mother figure to Abhira in the jail asks Abhira to eat food to live life. 

Abhira sits down on the same table as Kesari is having her own meal. Abhira offers her chapati to the pregnant woman for the child inside her womb. Looking at the brunt Chapati Abhira remembers her time with Mayra when she used to make burnt chapatis. 

In her remembrance, Kesari quickly grabs the Chapati from Abhira's plate. Jalebi Bai gives her roti to Abhira and she refuses to eat it. That moment Jalebi Bai narrates every information about Abhira's life and her family. The warden approaches Abhira and informs her that someone has come to meet her.

Guess who came to meet her? Yes, it is Armaan Poddar. Looking at Abhira's demeanour Armaan refuses to even look at her. The first question that Abhira asks is whether Mayra is alright ?

Armaan explains to her that Mayra has stopped going to school because her classmate has bullied her because of you. She also got to know that you are in jail. 

Upon hearing this, Abhira thinks of an idea and suggests Armaan that he should take Mayra and Geetanjali both to a new city in order to start a new life. Abhira continue saying that to give Mayra a happy childhood it is important to take her away from herself. 

Back home inside the poddar house Mayra is asking questions to Dadisa of where his father has gone? As he promised to bring her mother Abhira back. Geetanjali comes to calm her down by saying her father will return soon.

Mayra questions Geetanjali why did you got married to my father? My mother and father should have gotten married why did you came in between? Abhira is my mother not you. This statement gives a shocking effect to Geetanjali. 

In the jail Armaan refuses to listen to Abhira. Just then he says living with you for so many years Mayra cannot live without her mother. Armaan ends by saying both Mayra and him cannot live without you. 

Back home inside the poddar house Mayra is asking questions to Dadisa. Just then Armaan walks in and hugs Mayra. Mayra asks him why he has been off her site for so long? She asks about Abhira as well. 

To make the situation a little tolerable for Armaan Geetanjali tries to take Mayra to her room. She is adamant that she wants to speak to her father. Abhira immediately quips why did he got married to Geetanjali? 

She says Geetanjali is not my mother you should have married my mother. Mayra asks Armaan to finish off his marrige with Geetanjali. Armaan counters it while saying I cannot do that because marriage is a lifelong commitment. 

Abhira in pain is weeping inside the jail and in her lost senses she was about to get an electric shock but Jalebi Bai comes to save her from it. Jalebi Bai then tells her that your husband and you love each other and that I think we can help each other for our respective desires.
