Is Abhishek Bachchan set to share screen space in Prabhas Starrer Fauji?

Bahubali fame Prabhas has emerged as one of the most loved and followed superstar. Bahubali made him an overnight sensation which continues to spread his charm and magic amongst his fans and followers. However, apart from Bahubali Prabhas went on to star in major films. 

Prabhas's upcoming film Fauji is directed by critically acclaimed Sita Raman fame Hanu Raghavapudi. Regarding Fauji reports are doing rounds that Abhishek Bachchan can be a part of the film. If this happens then it will be a double treat for both Prabhas and Abhishek's fans. 

Also, the film will get an extra boost as stars from South and North film industry will rule the box-office and cash in their stardom power. However, neither the makers nor the actor has confirmed his presence in the film. 

The film is generally described as being set during a war era, with reports placing it either in 1940s (during the british rule/world war 2) or the 1970s. Prabhas is expected to play a soldier. This will be the first time that Prabhas will play a role of a soldier. 

Fauji is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers and is reportedly being mounted on a large scale with a significant budget. With some reports mention around ₹400 crores. 

Talking about the star cast, the film will apart from Prabhas will see Imanvi who is reportedly play a social media personality and dancer in the film. She will debut with the film as the lead actress. The film features an ensemble cast including veterans like Mithun Chakraborty and Jaya Prada. 

The film is currently in the filming stage, with elaborate sets constructed at locations like Ramoji Film City. While the official date is not confirmed, trade sources have speculated a related date sometime in 2026. 

The project is highly anticipated as it marks a change of pace for Prabhas, who will be showcasing both intense action and a romantic side in a period setting, under a director celebrated for emotional storytelling. 

On the work front, Prabhas will star in Prashanth Neel's Salaar: Part 2- Shouryanga Parvam, Maruthi's The Raja Sahab, Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Spirit and Mukesh Kumar Singh's Kannappa. 

On the other hand, Abhishek will feature in varied roles and genres including Siddharth Anand's King, Anurag Kashyap's Gulab Jamun, Remo D'Souza's Dancing Dad, Maneesh Sharma's Dhoom 4 and and Riteish Deshmukh's Raja Shivaji.
